Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will get a surprising offer that could change his life in a big way. On September 16, Eric will receive this offer and pass the news along to Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) soon after.
It’ll undoubtedly be some amazing job opportunity – perhaps one that could change lives other than his own, too. Sadly this will lead to Eric Brady’s and Greg Vaughan’s DOOL exit.
DOOL will make this a dream come true for Eric, so he’ll be something that’s too good to pass up. Of course, Eric would never accept any offer that affects his future without talking to Nicole first.
They’re newlyweds and madly in love, so Eric’s future is Nicole’s future as well. This will be something Eric has to put some real thought into as a result.
Of course, it may be a no-brainer for Nicole! She certainly wants Eric to be happy and will sense that this would indeed make him happy. Since this offer will take Eric out of Salem, that’s the biggest issue to consider here.
Eric might immediately dismiss the proposal he’s received as a fun dream to think about and nothing more. He probably won’t even think of this as a real option at first.
This is Nicole’s chance to be supportive and encourage Eric to take advantage of this. Nicole won’t want to hold Eric back, so she should be able to get him on board eventually. From there, they’ll have to decide what this means for their marriage.
Nicole’s job at Basic Black is in Salem – and there’s the matter of this custody battle decision, too. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) wanted Nicole to raise her baby, but will the judge rule in Nicole and Eric’s favor? That might leave Nicole with custody in town alone.
Even if the judge swings things Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) way, Nicole may want to stay in hopes that Allie will come back – and Allie will indeed come back in the near future. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole will have several good reasons for staying behind and letting Eric leave town without her.
Eric and Nicole will say a heartfelt goodbye for now as they prepare to enter a long-distance relationship. Will Nicole and Eric’s marriage suffer as a result? Time will tell, but this exit at least leaves the door open for Greg Vaughan to return. Maybe Eric can come home for some visits here and there.
As for Nicole, Days spoilers say Allie’s going to need her support more than ever soon. Since Allie will likely change her mind and wind up raising her son, Nicole can take Allie under her wing and teach her how to be a good mom. We’ll pass along updates as other Days details emerge.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Greg Vaughan’s final scenes are on the way – at least his final ones for the time being! There’s no word on Vaughan’s last DOOL airdate just yet, but it shouldn’t be too long after this offer comes.
