Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will continue to keep Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) at arm’s length. At this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if Jake got a restraining order! Gabi has made it crystal clear that she won’t give up on Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but that’s not really up to her if Jake isn’t willing to surrender and come clean.
Of course, we can’t rule out the possibility that Jake’s truly a new character since DOOL hasn’t confirmed it either way. It doesn’t really matter since Gabi and Jake aka maybe Stefan are the ones we’re supposed to be rooting for.
Who cares what the guy’s name is? It’s Brandon Barash’s charm and onscreen chemistry with Camila Banus that’s so appealing.
Days of Our Lives is giving these two some angst, but could they add to “Stabi” fans’ suffering by throwing in more? A good way to do that would be through a romantic interloper. Perhaps someone else will come along and express interest in Jake – or Stefan depending on what’s revealed and the timing of all this.
DOOL viewers will recall that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) wasn’t thrilled about Stefan marrying Gabi. She suggested that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) was a better match.
Vivian also bonded with Eve before her departure and seems poised to team up with Eve down the road. We know that there’ll be some overlap in Vivian and Eve’s upcoming return stints.
If Jake is actually Stefan and Vivian knows it, she might decide to do some matchmaking. Whether the truth is out in Salem or not, Vivian could push Jake aka Stefan and Eve together. After all, Eve is going to need a love interest if she stays in town for a while.
There’s no word yet on the length of Eve’s stay, but she’ll be around long enough to cause major trouble.
Days insiders suggest Barash has filmed some things “Stabi” fans aren’t going to like. It’s safe to say many Gabi and Stefan shippers would hate a Stefan and Eve pairing – or a Jake and Eve pairing for that matter. Nevertheless, the possibility was teased long ago through Vivian’s support for “Steve” as a couple.
Even if Days just went for a Jake-Stefan and Eve hookup, we could see it happening for drama’s sake. If this is Stefan and he keeps pushing Gabi away, he might fall into Eve’s bed for comfort.
Whatever the case, Eve will be back this summer and should be available! It’ll be interesting to see what romantic direction DOOL takes if Eve gets one. We’ll deliver updates as other news comes in.
