Days of Our Lives (DOOL) tease that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) have some soapy drama ahead of them. Ciara and Ben have to keep tackling challenges together – and they definitely have some big ones in their future!
After Ciara accepts Ben’s proposal during the week of May 11-15, they’ll happily start planning their wedding. There are bound to be some of the typical bumps in the road, but the real trouble could start later. We know Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will eventually make her Days comeback, so that could present some problems.
Claire’s always a wildcard, but she actually made amends with Ciara before she went to Bayview. This may be more of a heartfelt return, especially since Ciara doesn’t have a ton of options to be her maid of honor. Claire could easily be well enough to slide in that spot.
Of course, there’s also a chance DOOL will use Claire to deliver drama or let that drama play out another way. Almost any Days of Our Lives wedding has to have some. Fortunately, Ben and Ciara will indeed tie the knot at some point. It may be the honeymoon period that goes from bliss to pure misery.
Ciara and Ben might take a little trip or save their money and “staycation” instead. Regardless, they should be in their sweet “Cin” bubble. Who’s going to come along and burst it? Days of Our Lives spoilers say it may be Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva)!
When DePaiva exited DOOL last year, she promised her return in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. Eve also offered up some great hints about what to expect. In this interview, there was talk about Paige Larson (True O’Brien) being a through-line – a consistent element in Eve’s plots on the show. Days fans will recall that Paige died after mentally ill Ben strangled her.
“What mother wouldn’t have justified reactions to that [incident]? Wouldn’t let up on somebody until justice was served? Because it has never been served. And that will continue to be my throughline when I return again [in shows next year],” DePaiva said in 2019.
It’s 2020 now, so here we go. There’s no word on Eve’s official first airdate back, but it looks like it’ll happen as summer wraps up or perhaps as fall begins. Ben and Ciara should be married by then, so maybe Eve will be their first obstacle as newlyweds. It’s safe to say the honeymoon will be over once Eve stirs the pot!
Regardless, DePaiva herself promised another round of Paige revenge, so Ben and Ciara had better be ready. As other news and updates surface, we’ll give you all the details.
