Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will have big plans for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) when she returns down the road. Let’s look at what we know so far. For starters, Eve naturally still holds a grudge over the death of her daughter, Paige Larson (True O’Brien).
To get the thugs to leave the garage, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) mentioned that Ben was the necktie killer. That was a great reminder as we build toward the danger and drama to come. Days of Our Lives has spoilers say this wedding will blow up in a big way – and there’s a good chance Ben’s presumed death will be the result.
When Ciara pushed Ben to leave his risky job, she asked what her happily ever after would be if her fiancé ended up DEAD. Did you hear that anvil falling? It all adds up since we know Ciara’s got some meaty, difficult material ahead. It also fits with the funeral that’ll follow Ben and Ciara’s wedding.
However, we have to take it back to Eve for a minute. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest last year, Kassie DePaiva suggested Eve would still have justice for Paige on her mind when she returned. How’s Eve going to get justice for Paige if Ben’s dead?! That’d be justice served in Eve’s eyes, right?
Since Eve won’t show up until after this wedding fiasco, she’ll need another path to revenge. Eve’s coming back for a storyline that involves payback, not a one-episode stunt. It doesn’t look like Eve will be behind Ben’s murder, but there are other options to consider.
Eve might make it LOOK like Ben is dead – or could perhaps take advantage of a bad situation. Eve might be the culprit behind this wedding disaster, but she could also land in the right place at the right time.
Regardless, Eve might swoop in and use this as her opportunity to make Ben pay. What if Eve decides the best way to make Ben suffer is to make Ciara believe he’s gone forever?
Ben would hate knowing Ciara was in that kind of pain. Since Ciara’s always been Ben’s champion, Eve may want her to feel a deep sense of loss, too – the kind of loss Eve faced when she lost Paige.
A fire would be a good way to go based on Ben’s history. Fires have certainly been a running theme in Ben’s storylines as well as Claire Brady’s (Olivia Rose Keegan). We know Claire’s set to get out of Bayview soon and will become obsessed with the “Cin” wedding.
It’s the prime setup for Claire to be accused of setting another fire, even if Eve or perhaps Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is actually to blame. Ciara may wind up believing Ben has perished in a massive blaze.
Instead, maybe Eve will hold Ben hostage at a cabin – another familiar theme in Ben’s DOOL stories. There’s been no news about Robert Scott Wilson leaving Days, and it seems Wilson filmed beyond this wedding airdate. All of that suggests Ben will be alive and well in captivity – and Eve makes the most sense as his captor!
