Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers Fall Preview teases that viewers are in for a fantastic winter and holiday season on the NBC soap. The new DOOL Fall preview video is out, and it’s all about what viewers can expect from now into the Christmas holiday season on the show.
We’ve covered some of the preview highlights in other posts, but there’s plenty more to discuss here, so let’s get right into it.
First off, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) will be back, and it looks like moments after she arrives, she’ll walk right in on Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) in bed together.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gabi will return with every intention of getting Jake back, so she should be pretty surprised to find Jake between the sheets with Kate!
“What the holy hell is going on here!” Gabi fumes as she catches Jake with Kate. Later, Gabi will confront Jake about what he’s done, and he’ll remind her that she told him that she didn’t give a damn about him.
Gabi will then spring the whole story about how she had to leave under duress and needed to tell him anything so that he’d let her go. Jake will then have a big choice to make – Kate or Gabi?
Next, the preview shows Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) in active labor at the hospital. “You are a warrior,” Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tells Lani as she breathes through labor pains.
Interestingly, Lani is alone during this part of her labor, and that leaves us wondering if Lani will still be freezing Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) out during the delivery. We’ll see how things unfold on that front.
The good news is that Eli will have some support nevertheless, as he’ll have Abe Carver (James Reynolds) on his side, as well as his mom Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams). The preview shows Valerie returning and giving Eli a big hug at the hospital, perhaps after the great news about the babies’ birth.
The promo also suggests that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) may make some headway in reconciling with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), and Jack, Jennifer, and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) are shown in a group hug at the Brady Pub.
While it’s possible that this could be a dream or fantasy of Jack’s, we suspect that Jennifer will probably forgive jack by the time Christmas rolls around. Fingers crossed!
Over at the DiMera mansion, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will be continuing her scheming where Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) are concerned.
As Days of Our Lives viewers know, Gwen’s plan is to manipulate Chad into suspecting that Abigail and Jake are having an affair. It looks like Gwen will make some progress in that regard, as Chad is shown in the preview asking Abigail if she’s having an affair with Jake.
Abigail looks aghast at the suggestion as she hesitates in answering. Viewers know the Abigail really isn’t interested in Jake…but the preview suggests that Gwen will certainly be interested in Chad.
Gwen is shown making nice with Abigail in one scene, and then moving in for a kiss with Chad in the next! We’ll see if Chad actually fall for Gwen’s routine.
Next, the promo turns to another big return – that of Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), who will return to Salem along with Gabi.
Interestingly, Rafe is shown hugging Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) heartily, and DOOL buzz is that these two might get together as a couple down the line. We’ll have to watch for developments there.
The Fall preview next moves into what looks like a fantasy Christmas gathering at the Kiriakis mansion.
It could be an “alternate reality” sort of scene, since it appears that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) is the mansion’s butler, while Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is in a maid’s uniform and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) just might be the gardener again.
This could be a fantasy of Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson), or even one of Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf), since it looks like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady are together and happy in the fantasy.
Of course, it could be the case that Kristen gets released from prison for real, but it’s kind of hard to imagine that happening with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) still around.
Interestingly, it seems that some odd couples are under the mistletoe in the Kiriakis mansion as well – both Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Philip are shown nearly kissing, and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Xander are under another mistletoe.
This could be part of the alternate-reality fantasy, or perhaps there’s another explanation here – viewers will have to wait to see!
Other couples are shown happy around the holidays as well, including Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and Sarah and Xander.
Finally, it appears that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will manage to get through their Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) ordeal, and as the holidays roll around, Shawn will pop the question to Belle!
It looks like a wedding do-over is in store with NO Jan anywhere in sight. Hopefully Jan is back in a mental health facility getting treatment!
