Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, August 21, tease that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will need some advice. DOOL viewers know Hope just summoned Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to help with an “emergency,” which led to Rafe working on Hope’s washer and waiting on his wet shirt to dry. Of course, that was just a classic soapy way of letting the steamy tension build between them.
It’s clear that Hope wants to give her relationship with Rafe another shot – and that’s obviously what Rafe wants, too. It’s just a matter of admitting what they want to each other and moving forward.
Days spoilers say Hope will fill Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) in on her Rafe dilemma and get some helpful guidance.
Jennifer and Kayla may reflect on their own reunions with the men they love. When another chance at romance comes along, sometimes you just have to put your heart out there and take advantage of it! Once Hope hears what Kayla and Jennifer have to say, she should grow more confident and plan to make her move.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will pay John Black (Drake Hogestyn) a visit at the hospital. John will remain unconscious as Steve sits by his bedside and hopes his buddy can pull through.
While Steve supports John, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will do the same for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). However, Ben’s behavior should grow increasingly peculiar.
Vincent (Michael Teh) just gave Ben the final dose of the drug that’ll turn him into a killer again – at least that’s what it’s supposed to do. Days spoilers say Ben should seem a bit weird, but Marlena may be too distraught over John to notice much.
Marlena might ask if Ben’s all right and schedule another session later, but she’s caught up in her own drama right now.
Ben won’t be fully in dark mode at this point, so he’ll still be able to console Marlena. Meanwhile, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) will look forward to Ben finally killing Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal).
Eve’s starting to think maybe fate brought all the delays. It’d be fitting for Ben to kill Ciara on the same day he killed Paige Larson (True O’Brien) – that’s how Eve sees it anyway.
On Friday, Eve will reflect on the anniversary of Paige’s death as she opens a memory box. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eve’s pain will come rushing back, so she’ll hope Vincent’s drug does the trick. Eve’s counting on Ben to murder Ciara and face the double blow of knowing he killed his own wife.
