Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that fans are clamoring for the return of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Ever since the buzz started about Stefan returning, fans have been looking forward to the time when we can see Stefan reunite with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
As you’re probably aware, the “Stabi” pairing was quite popular on the show, and fans are anxious to see the couple together again.
Stefan and Gabi were just gearing up for a wonderful life together when his life was cut short and he was killed by a bullet fired by Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and intended for his mother Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser).
It certainly seemed like Stefan was gone for good, as even Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) assured Gabi that there was nothing he could do, given the extent of Stefan’s injuries.
Of course, a Stefan return should be a happy occasion for Gabi, but who knows what Gabi’s circumstances will be once Stefan returns to canvas. She’s in a world of trouble now, given what she did to Lani out of revenge for Stefan’s death. But she could be out of that trouble by then, given the way things tend to go on DOOL.
But it seems like there could be a big complication for Stefan and Gabi when they’re finally reunited…Stefan’s parents. As you might have heard, Louise Sorel is set to reprise her role as Vivian this summer, and of course Stefano DiMera is currently back and inhabiting the body of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). And neither of Stefan’s parents really think that much of Gabi.
DOOL viewers will remember that Vivian and Gabi didn’t get along at all back when Vivian was on canvas and being portrayed by Robin Strasser. The two women couldn’t see eye to eye on anything, and Vivian wanted Stefan to be with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) instead. That really irked Gabi, but Stefan defended Gabi to Vivian repeatedly.
Well, assuming that Stefano is still around when Stefan returns to canvas, one wonders how he’ll get along with Gabi. We’d say not so well, since he hasn’t been exactly thrilled with Gabi being the CEO of DiMera Enterprises.
And upcoming Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Stefano will soon attack Gabi, and whether that refers to a verbal or a physical attack remains to be seen. But it doesn’t sound good, and it doesn’t bode well for “Stabi’s” ongoing relationship.
At any rate it seems like Stefan and Gabi will face some major challenges once they’re finally reunited. Contending with Vivian will be hard enough, but if they’re also faced with contending with Stefano in the form of Steve, then they could see some real relationship challenges.
Something tells us that Stefano won’t approve of the relationship, and Stefano has a way of making life difficult for people he doesn’t like.
