Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) dream is on the verge of coming true. DOOL viewers know Gabi’s had some rotten luck, but it’ll start to turn around. After Gabi gets off the hook in Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) drugging case, she’ll get the DNA test results she’s been waiting for.
It looks Gabi will get confirmation that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is indeed Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Gabi should think this is fantastic and will expect to get her life with Stefan back on track. However, we all know it won’t be that simple! What about Gwen (Emily O’Brien), the ex that Jake simply can’t resist?
Even when Jake and Gwen are fighting, there’s major passion going on. Gwen and Jake would’ve hooked up recently if Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) hadn’t interrupted. There’s a good chance Jake and Gwen were headed that way again before Gabi showed up to rant about Gwen’s “nasty paws.”
Gabi doesn’t want Gwen anywhere near her husband, but she may not have a choice in the matter. Once Jake realizes Gabi’s not so crazy after all, he’ll probably rebel against the whole idea of Stefan.
In other words, realizing who he really is could make Jake determined to ignore that identity. Jake might be even more drawn to Gwen, who represents this comfortable life that he already knows.
The third time may be the charm when it comes to trying to reunite in the bedroom. During the week of July 6-10, Gabi will stop by the garage and head to Jake’s private room. Days of Our Lives spoilers say a horrible surprise is in store once Gabi walks in. It seems likely Jake will have Gwen in bed with him.
Once Gabi gets over the sight of Jake under the sheets with his British side chick, she’ll probably remind them both that Stefan is a married man. Gabi should view this as Stefan cheating on her and have a massive outburst as a result.
Of course, Gwen may fire back that Stefan can still be Jake if he wants. She won’t see why Jake should have to honor marriage vows that he doesn’t even remember saying. Not that Gwen would care about the sanctity of marriage anyway! Days fans can tell Gwen plays by her own rules – ones that benefit her and her alone.
As for Jake, he may feel torn and even a little guilty afterward. It’s clear that Jake feels a connection with Gabi, even if he wants to pretend it’s not there. Seeing all Gabi’s pain and anger could affect Jake a great deal. That’d mean bad news for Gwen, who could lose the battle for Jake’s heart soon enough.
