Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) will find herself on an emotional roller coaster. She’s been riding high thanks to control of DiMera Enterprises as well as the DiMera mansion.
Gabi also got revenge on Lani Price (Sal Stowers) by forcing her to dump Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) at the altar. Now that Gabi’s got Eli’s engagement ring on her finger, she has to be feeling triumphant.
However, Days viewers know how quickly a character’s luck can change. Sooner or later, Gabi’s headed for a horrific downfall. The truth will come out about Gabi’s pacemaker plot and how she’s been holding Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) life over Lani’s head.
Threatening to blow up someone’s heart is awfully extreme, so Gabi deserves some payback here.
Even so, Gabi will surely rise above her heartbreak once again. She always does! Gabi may not have solid morals, but she’s capable of love. Days of Our Lives proved that with Gabi and Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) storyline – a storyline that’s set to continue down the road.
By the time April rolls around, Stefan will be back on DOOL and ready for a brand-new chapter.
Of course, Days can’t just slap Stefan and Gabi back together lickety-split! There has to be a buildup. The show needs to deliver all the soapy, angsty goodness that fans crave.
Stefan could easily be suffering from amnesia upon his return – just like Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). That’d be one way to create a reunion hurdle for Stefan and Gabi to overcome.
There’s another option here though – and it might be a fun one. What if Gabi ends up having a little competition for Stefan’s heart? That could add another layer to the potential amnesia drama.
Perhaps Stefan’s fallen in love with someone else while he’s been away. If not, Stefan could be drawn to another woman after he gets back to Salem.
It’d be fitting since Gabi scooped up Eli for herself and robbed “ELani” of this time together. Gabi might have to suffer while she watches Stefan cozy up to somebody else. This could be a great opportunity for Gabi to fight for her man!
