Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) won’t be able to fight their feelings for much longer.
DOOL fans know Gabi’s always felt drawn to Jake – at first because she thought he was her dead husband, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Gabi later found out Jake was Stefan’s twin brother, but the bond between them remained.
In fact, that bond has only grown stronger over the last few weeks. Likewise, Jake clearly has feelings for Gabi and is attracted to her. During the week of August 17-21, Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) will hope to make Jake jealous through Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). That plan’s probably going to backfire and send Jake straight into Gabi’s arms.
As for Gabi, she’ll be upset over Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) shocking choice in the week ahead. It looks like Sonny will accept an amazing job offer out of town, so that’ll leave Gabi reeling. The topic of where Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) lives should become a major issue.
Gabi may end up leaning on Jake for support in the aftermath of Will and Sonny’s decision. The stars will finally align for some exploding passion, so that’s what Days viewers can expect. Gabi and Jake will surrender to what they’re feeling, which probably means hitting the sheets.
That’s great news for “Stabi” fans, who have been longing to see that familiar chemistry. Jake may not be Stefan, but Brandon Barash and Camila Banus know how to bring the heat on screen! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake and Gabi will definitely deliver some steaminess, so that’ll be something to look forward to.
Sadly, a crushing blow will follow – both for DOOL viewers and for Jake. Like Will and Sonny, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will have to make a tough decision of her own. In the end, Gabi will break Jake’s heart by revealing that she’s leaving town, too.
Surprisingly, it looks like Gabi’s exit may be connected to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) rather than Will, Sonny and Arianna. Regardless, any dreams Gabi and Jake might’ve had for the future will go up in smoke – at least for now.
Of course, there’s a good chance Camila Banus will work out a deal and return at some point. Out of all the exits happening, we’d say Banus seems more likely than anyone to come back.
