Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will make her way back to Salem – and it looks like she’ll arrive just in time for November sweeps drama.
The good news is Gabi will eventually be free of the threat she’s facing, so the danger surrounding Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) won’t be a problem anymore. The bad news is Gabi and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will struggle to get back on the same page about their romance!
Jake could easily hook up with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) based on the hints DOOL has offered, so that could certainly cause issues with Gabi. She wouldn’t approve of Jake and Kate being bedroom buddies, even if it was more about lust than love.
Nevertheless, there could be other trouble as well – like Jake keeping walls up to prevent getting his heart broken again.
Even Gabi may keep her guard up since she’s been through a lot in hiding. Gabi’s had an opportunity to reflect and may not come back in the right headspace for a reunion with Jake – at least not at first.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake and Gabi will need some time to ease back into this, but it may not take too long.
DOOL viewers know Christmas always brings some heartwarming moments in Salem. What do the holidays have in store for Gabi this year? There are a couple of ways Days could take this.
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) might receive word that Gabi’s back home and allow Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) to come visit.
However, Arianna already has some abandonment issues due to all the times Gabi’s been arrested and separated from her. It wouldn’t be surprising if Arianna refused to come home and decided to stay with her daddies in Arizona.
That’s especially true since Days probably doesn’t want kids that young back on set due to the pandemic.
Of course, Days could just have Arianna in the other room, but the idea of a lonely Gabi on Christmas sounds appealing from a story standpoint. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) may be off having a blue Christmas of his own without Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), so that could leave Gabi all alone.
Could Christmas be when the tension between Jake and Gabi will thaw? It’ll be cold outside, but Gabi and Jake’s hearts could warm back up. Naturally, that could lead to Jake and Gabi heating things up in the bedroom by the time New Year’s Eve rolls around!
Bottom line, Gabi and Jake seem poised to spend Christmas together. Whether Jake joins Gabi and Arianna for a family Christmas or comforts her because Ari’s not there, Jake and Gabi may receive the gift of love this year.
