Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will recover and return home in the weeks ahead. Unfortunately, Abigail’s bound to get an unpleasant surprise when she gets back.
During the week of August 10-14, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) will cross the line by kissing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Abigail will inevitably find out about that kiss and whatever else Chad does behind his wife’s back!
Although Chad may lash out at Gwen initially and set some boundaries, he’ll probably enjoy the kiss deep down. Chad seems sad and lonely without Abigail around, so he’s in a vulnerable position – the kind of position a woman like Gwen would take advantage of.
Days spoilers say Gwen will give Chad a smooch, which could easily be seen by Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus). After all, Gwen and Gabi are living in the same house now. DOOL fans will recall that Gwen moved in the DiMera mansion with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), so there’ll be chances to stir up trouble for each other.
Gwen already agreed to spy on Gabi for Chad, but two can play that game! What’s to stop Gabi from catching on and spying on Gwen instead? We wouldn’t put it past Gabi to record Chad and Gwen’s kiss under the circumstances!
This is a woman who literally had an explosive device installed in Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) pacemaker, so hitting record on her phone is perfectly reasonable.
Of course, even Gabi’s word would work in this case. Most people aren’t going to accept Gabi’s version of events as fact on any given day, but what happens if Gabi calls Chad out on his cheating in front of Abigail? Will Chad really stand there and deny it?
Chad’s a good guy at heart, so he may come clean and insist that Gwen instigated the kiss. However, that commonly used excuse never really goes over well. If you don’t want someone to kiss you, you simply lean back or gently push the other person away. It’s not that hard to…well, NOT get kissed.
If Chad reciprocates this kiss at all, Abigail may see it as a sign of trouble in their marriage. It’s possible there’ll be other stolen kisses or even some passion in the bedroom. Days of Our Lives clearly wants to set up some “Chabby” drama, so they can make this Gwen issue as bad as necessary.
Regardless, Gabi’s headed off canvas down the road, but she might give Chad a parting “gift” before she exits. Perhaps Gabi will be the one to expose Chad’s betrayal to Abigail and cause major DiMera mansion chaos! We’ll deliver other Days news as more updates become available.
