Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) is set to return to Salem in the next couple of weeks. As DOOL viewers will remember, Gabi had to skedaddle out of Salem after her dad Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) insisted that she and her brother Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) were in terrible danger.
Eduardo, Rafe, and Gabi fled to parts unknown, but soon it seems that the danger will be over, and Gabi will be able to return to Salem safe and sound.
Well, a lot will have changed in the DiMera mansion since Gabi will have been gone. For starters, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will be back home, so the dynamic will have shifted big time.
Plus, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will no longer be trying to separate from his unhappy relationship with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) – he’ll be way over Gwen and ensconced in some semblance of a relationship with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
Of course, exactly what Kate and Jake’s relationship will be by then is anyone’s guess. Right now, Kate and Jake are sleeping together, and Jake is encouraging Kate to stick with the program and keep it secret from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Jake and Kate’s secret affair may continue for a while, but that’s probably not going to be possible once Gabi returns to the mansion.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Gabi will want to come back and pick up where things left off with her and Jake. As viewers will remember, Jake and Gabi slept together once, but right afterwards, Eduardo appeared, and Gabi had to make an excuse and leave town.
Jake didn’t want her to go, and in order to get Jake to accept that she had to go, she told him a big fat lie – that she only slept with him because he looked like Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
That irked Jake to say the least, and he hasn’t seemed to give Gabi another thought since she left. Jake certainly wasn’t thinking about Gabi when he was in Kate’s bed, and he’s probably going to be pretty surprised to see Gabi turn back up saying that she wants to see where things might go between them.
And it might be too late at that point, because it seems that Jake and Kate will still be romantically involved.
DOOL spoilers say tt could be more intense that that – Jake could be totally falling in love with Kate! Now, we doubt that Kate will reciprocate feelings of love for Jake, but Jake may have it bad for Kate.
And that’s probably going to infuriate Gabi. Gabi and Kate have traditionally had a good relationship and they’ve often schemed together, but Gabi probably will never have expected Jake to wind up with feelings for Kate of all people.
We’ll see what happens here, but we expect that Gabi will probably insist that Jake snap out of it and realize that Kate is never going to want to be in an actual relationship with Jake.
Gabi might feel betrayed by Kate for going after Jake, so fireworks could fly there, too. Do you think that Gabi will come home to find Jake in love with Kate?
