Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of June 29-July 3 tease that a big moment’s ahead – one that could change Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) life forever! In DOOL’s extended weekly preview video, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) can be heard discussing what’s next for Jake.
“The DNA results are ready,” Ben says – most likely to Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). “He’s going to find out if he really is Stefan DiMera.” The promo shows Jake sauntering toward Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) at the hospital, where she’ll have the DNA test results in her hands.
We should note that Gabi will be cleared of wrongdoing in Abigail DiMera’s (Kate Mansi) drugging case by then. All Gabi will have to worry about his whether or not Jake is actually Stefan. After Gabi opens those results, she’ll stare pensively and look a bit rattled.
Days spoilers say Gabi’s reaction will be tough for Stefan to read. It’ll be hard for Jake to know if Gabi’s shocked because she’s wrong or overwhelmed because she’s right! “So what does it say?” Jake asks Gabi in DOOL’s extended weekly promo.
According to other Days of Our Lives spoilers, Jake will be surprised along with Gabi. That suggests that the results will confirm Jake is Stefan. Although Jake has entertained the idea that he might be Stefan, he wouldn’t be surprised if the results said he was just plain old Jake. That’d be the expected outcome for him.
Jake’s only going to be shocked if he learns he’s indeed Gabi’s “dead” husband – and Days spoilers insist he’ll be shocked! As for Gabi, she’s been insisting these results would prove her right, but having evidence in her hands will be a game-changer.
The shocker for Gabi should be knowing it’s true and realizing her “Stabi” reunion’s within reach. It looks like what Gabi’s wanted for so long will actually be happening. Gabi will apparently have proof that Stefan’s come back to her, so that should lead to the kiss she’ll plant on Jake.
Days spoilers say Gabi will grab Jake and lock lips with him, but she’ll get rejected soon after. Gabi won’t give Jake anytime to process this bombshell and will make matters worse with this smooch. It’ll be a lot for Jake to deal with, so Gabi will face her next obstacle. Just because Gabi proves Stefan is Jake doesn’t mean he’ll want to reunite!
Jake will head over to see Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) by the end of the week, so that backs up this “Jake is Stefan” DNA match. Why else would Jake care what Vivian has to say? It seems Jake will only visit Vivian because he realizes she’s his mother.
Of course, there could be some twists coming in this Days of Our Lives story. An identical twin would still be a match for Stefan, so that’s important to keep in mind. You can never rule out DNA test tampering in Salem either. However, Jake should believe he’s Stefan at this point and will likely spin out because of it!
