Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) seems to have free reign over the DiMera mansion and its occupants these days. As viewers are aware, Gwen recently visited with Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) in prison and shared her rationale for hating Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) as well as the details of phase two of her plan to make Abigail’s life totally miserable.
Although viewers weren’t clued into Gwen’s reason for hating Abigail, we all got to hear Gwen’s big plans for Abigail and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) going forward.
Gwen isn’t satisfied at simply blowing up Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) marriage; she wants to blow up Abigail and Chad’s marriage also.
It looks like Gwen’s going to start by manipulating things so that Chad starts to fear that Abigail and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) are having a secret affair. Of course, Gwen knows that it’s actually Jake and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) who are having the secret affair, but Gwen plans to finagle things so that it looks to Chad like the woman that Jake is sleeping with is Abigail.
Well, there’s one thing that Gwen isn’t counting on, and that’s that someone is about to return to the mansion in short order. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) will soon be returning to Salem along with her brother Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
That’s going to put Gabi smack dab into the middle of Gwen’s plan, and not in a good way.
For one, it looks like Gabi will have her sights set on reclaiming Jake. DOOL viewers will remember that Jake and Gabi had a fling before she was forced to leave town unexpectedly.
It looks like Gabi will want to see where things might go with Jake, and that could leave Jake and Kate kaput, which would obviously impact Gwen’s plan big time.
But there’s something else about Gabi’s return that will likely get in Gwen’s way, and that’s that Gabi can’t stand Gwen. Gabi will probably figure out pretty quickly that Gwen is up to something, and she might make it her mission to find out what.
In a bizarre turn of events, it could actually be Gabi who ends up exposing how Gwen is gaslighting Chad and Abigail.
Of course, Days of Our Lives viewers know that Gabi has done her share of gaslighting when it comes to Abigail in the past. But this time, since Gwen’s involved, Gabi might decide that she needs to be on Abigail and Chad’s side, and she could blow Gwen’s plan wide open.
We’ll see what happens here, but Gwen surely won’t want pesky Gabi back in the mix in the mansion. It will probably cramp Gwen’s style when it comes to her plan, and Gabi could bust her altogether!
