Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will face an unexpected curveball. On August 19, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will receive an offer he feels he must accept. After a deep discussion with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), they’ll make a huge decision – one that Gabi’s going to blow her top over!
It certainly sounds like Sonny will accept a job that takes him out of town with Will, which would be fine if it were just the two of them. However, Arianna Horton’s (Sydney Brower) involvement makes this a much bigger issue.
There’s no word on where Sonny’s position will force him to move, but it’ll undoubtedly be somewhere far away from Salem – potentially even in another country.
As you can imagine, Gabi’s going to be livid that they made this decision without even consulting her. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Will and Sonny will just dump this shocker on Gabi out of nowhere.
DOOL fans know Gabi, Will and Sonny all raise Ari together, so how’s this going to work? Their previous co-parenting plan will go right out the window!
Gabi’s a huge part of her daughter’s life, but it seems like Ari’s a bit closer to her daddies. It would break Arianna’s heart to be separated from Will and Sonny. Of course, Ari would also miss Gabi if they were torn apart. That’s why having Will, Sonny and Gabi all right there in town has been the ideal arrangement.
Ari’s already been through plenty of parental upheaval in her short existence. Sonny left town for a while a few years back. Gabi went to prison, got out and later did another stint in the slammer on bogus charges.
Will ended up behind bars as well due to confusion over Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) accident. Arianna could really use stability, but her life’s being turned upside down once again.
Will and Sonny might argue that Ari can come home for visits on holidays and when she’s off on extended breaks from school. None of that may be good enough for Gabi, who’s used to seeing Arianna all the time. It’s easy to imagine Gabi threatening a custody battle when Sonny and Will first bring up a new arrangement.
Nevertheless, things could change after Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) shows up at Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) house out of the blue. Eduardo will put Rafe in a tight spot, so that should lead to a tight spot for Gabi, too. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will feel forced into a heartbreaking choice.
That choice should involve leaving her budding romance with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) behind and letting “WilSon” take Ari – perhaps for her daughter’s own safety. Eduardo is a former assassin, so Rafe and Gabi’s reason for leaving Salem could easily be tied to some danger. Gabi will return to town this fall, but she won’t know that when she exits with Rafe on August 28.
As for Will and Sonny, their exit will follow on September 1. It looks like Sonny and Will are going to take Arianna with them on their new adventure, but the separation from Gabi should be painful for the poor kid! We’ll provide updates as other Days news pops up.
