Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) may find herself in another predicament. Once Gabi gets out of her captivity jam, she’ll finally have a chance to reflect and grieve. Gabi wanted to spend the rest of her life with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but she’s never truly taken the time to mourn the loss.
Between Gabi’s revenge and fighting for her relationship with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), there’s been a lot on her plate. Gabi was also busy trying to avoid prison and donating bone marrow to Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton.
Now Gabi’s just hoping to stay alive! Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is determined to get rid of the “rats” down in the tunnels – meaning Gabi and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
After all that wraps up and Gabi has an opportunity to come up for air, she’ll battle true heartbreak. Days spoilers say Gabi will feel all alone without Stefan by her side. It’ll finally sink in that Gabi has no one to love her. Gabi’s even lost her backup hubby now that Eli’s reunited with Lani Price (Sal Stowers).
So imagine Gabi’s shock when she sees Stefan’s reflection in the town square! That’s exactly what’ll happen this spring when Brandon Barash reprises the role of Stefan DiMera. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi will nearly do a double take. It’ll be a bizarre feeling when she thinks she sees Stefan looking back at her in a store window.
Stefan won’t be there when Gabi turns around, but the experience will stick with her. Gabi will ultimately start to sense other clues about Stefan’s survival. What will Gabi do next? That brings us to Gabi’s predicament. It’s not like Gabi has a lot of allies she can rely on – especially when her claims are going to sound so crazy.
Gabi might turn to Rafe Hernandez (Camila Banus) since he’s always going to love her. Although Gabi disappoints Rafe sometimes, the bond between these siblings can never be broken.
Unfortunately, Rafe’s a pretty pragmatic guy. Despite the constant returns from the dead in Salem, Rafe may not buy that there’s any way Stefan’s alive. He’d probably just worry about Gabi having a mental breakdown.
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) might be other options though. DOOL fans know Ben considered Stefan a friend, so he’d at least hear Gabi out. Whether Ben and Ciara believed Gabi or not, it might be crucial for them to get involved.
Days buzz hints that Stefan may turn up in a motorcycle shop – at least if a blurry leaked set pic is any indication. It makes perfect sense for Ciara and Ben to wind up there for motorcycle repairs. Stefan probably isn’t going to remember Gabi or his life in Salem, but Ciara and Ben may help to bring him home.
Regardless, Gabi should look like she’s lost it initially! That first glimpse of Stefan’s reflection may be in Gabi’s head, but it could also be her heart leading her to what’s out there somewhere.
