Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a new character will pop up in Salem for a brief stint, but she’ll be a familiar face to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Nzinga Blake will appear in the role of Angie, who happens to be a friend of Eric from his time in the Congo.
Eric will be happy to see his old pal when Angie drops by to see him on September 16, but this will be more than just a fun visit.
It turns out Angie will also have a stunning offer to pass along – one that could change Eric’s life in some incredible ways. Angie will pass along some information, so Eric will hear her pitch and look through the packet she offers.
Once Eric has heard Angie out, he should realize this is indeed a fantastic opportunity. It may involve helping those in need, which is certainly what Eric’s all about.
However, Eric is a newlywed who serves as a father figure to Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander). It’ll be hard for Eric to even think about leaving his family with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker), but he won’t want to uproot them either.
Eric may be tempted to just turn this offer down, but Angie will likely encourage Eric to at least think about it and talk it over with his wife. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will do just that, so that’ll bring a heartfelt discussion and Nicole’s blessing during the week of September 21-25.
DOOL fans can expect some difficult goodbyes as Eric leaves Salem behind, but Greg Vaughan could always reprise his role down the road. Days isn’t shutting the door on Eric for good – and he’ll remain in a happy long-distance relationship with Nicole for the time being.
It’ll be interesting to see how the distance affects Nicole and Eric in the months ahead.
Nicole will remain in Salem with Holly and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who’ll be back on the scene trying to navigate things with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and her baby boy. There’ll be other things for Nicole to focus on while Eric’s off on his latest adventure, which Angie will kick off.
As for Nzinga Blake, Days of Our Lives fans might recognize her from her roles on shows like Barbershop, SuperNews! and GodComplx. This will mark Blake’s daytime TV debut, so DOOL viewers will certainly want to give her a warm welcome.
