Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has a “very good reason” to hate Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), but she’s staying tight-lipped about what it is so far.
Even Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) is in the dark on why Gwen’s so determined to destroy Abigail’s life. The doc shares Gwen’s disdain for Abigail, but he was still curious about Gwen’s motives.
Gwen insisted Dr. Rolf would find out when everyone else does, so she’s clearly got some shocking DOOL climax in mind – a big reveal where she explains why she’s caused Abigail’s downfall.
Once Gwen’s goal is accomplished, she intends to let Abigail know exactly who did this to her. That lets us know Gwen has a connection to Abigail that will make sense once the truth comes out.
However, first thing’s first! Thanks to Dr. Rolf’s advice, Gwen’s focusing on the long game now instead of instant gratification. Gwen’s mission has become about taking everything Abigail holds near and dear for herself. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that could be a helpful hint about Gwen’s motivation. Why does Gwen want what Abigail has?
During this chat with Dr. Rolf, Gwen went on and on about how Abigail had it all. Abby is way too “perfect” as far as Gwen’s concerned. It’s like Gwen resents Abigail for all the good things in her life.
This is strange since Abigail’s life hasn’t really been all that great, especially the last few years. When you consider all the mental anguish Abigail’s gone through, it’s not really a life someone would’ve covet unless they were looking at it from another perspective.
In fact, no one’s life is really worth being jealous of on a drama-filled soap!
Nevertheless, Gwen’s focusing on the positives, presumably because she feels she was entitled to things Abigail has that Gwen didn’t have. This brings us to a theory CDL previously speculated on that deserves to be revisited.
It makes sense for Gwen to be a long-lost daughter of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) – one who’s jealous because she was tossed aside while Abigail was such a Deveraux darling.
The easiest explanation here is for Gwen to go after Abigail because they’re half-sisters. Gwen seemingly offered a major clue about that when she said Abigail’s name. Gwen raged about “Abigail DEVERAUX DiMera!” Why did Gwen put emphasis on the Deveraux part? Why not on DiMera?
There’s a good chance it’s because Gwen Rizczech is actually Gwen Deveraux – or at least should’ve been based on her connection to Jack. Notice that Days has already been pulling Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) into this story.
They even recast Jennifer, who’s not usually all that important, with Cady McClain so they could continue this hot plot. This is a big deal!
It sounds like Gwen will wreak havoc before she ultimately reveals she’s Abigail’s half-sister and throws Daddy Jack for a loop! As other Days news rolls in, we’ll give you updates.
