Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) did a favor for Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay), which still hasn’t been revealed. However, there’s one aspect of Dr. Rolf’s storyline that seems destined to come back around.
After Rolf tried to force Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) to carry a cloned Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) baby, Days spoilers suggested Rolf wasn’t going to give up on that mission. Even Mary Beth Evans hinted that Dr. Rolf would keep looking for someone to implant with the embryo in an interview with SOD.
Since Rolf and Gwen are secret partners, it makes sense that Gwen would agree to have that embryo implanted – whether she’s actually had that procedure done yet or not. It’s possible the favor was just an agreement to go through with it once the time was right.
After all, this move could actually work out quite well for Gwen once she pulls Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) closer. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will convince Chad that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) must be having an affair. Once Gwen has shattered the trust between Chad and Abigail, it’ll be time for her next move.
DOOL released a promo for their Day of Days virtual event, which featured Gwen diving in for a passionate kiss with Chad – and they happened to be on a bed. Could Gwen seduce Chad in a vulnerable moment and actually sleep with him? If not, Gwen could at least drug Chad into thinking they did.
Since Days has already brought up this Stefano clone thing, it seems like it could be important as Gwen moves into her next phase. What better way to destroy Chad and Abigail’s marriage than by making them believe she’s pregnant with Chad’s baby?
If Chad demands a DNA test, there could be enough shared DNA to produce a match. After Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Henry Horton’s (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) DNA results came back, Kayla argued that the only way a similar result could be produced was if Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) were the father.
Perhaps Kayla could actually play a crucial role in uncovering the truth about Gwen and Rolf’s plans down the line. That would make sense as well since Kayla was Dr. Rolf’s initial choice to carry the new Stefano DiMera!
Whatever the case, it looks like Gwen may stir up a whole lot of trouble by claiming she has Chad’s bun in the oven. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will eventually turn against her “friend,” so stay tuned. As other news comes in, we’ll pass along updates.
