Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) return to Salem has immediately resulted in an interesting scenario. As viewers are aware, Abigail has suddenly returned home to the DiMera mansion to surprise Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)…just in time to find Chad and Gwen Rizchech’s (Emily O’Brien) entwined in an embrace.
Of course, Gwen basically flung herself into Chad’s arms and it was very one-sided, but it sure doesn’t look that way to Abigail.
Well, as the action heats up during the week of September 7, Abigail will want to know what’s going on between Gwen and her husband.
It won’t be long before Abigail gets the full story, including the fact that Gwen kissed Chad in an attempt to make Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) jealous. That’s not going to go over well with Abigail, since Days of Our Lives spoilers say that she’ll end up slapping Chad for allowing that to happen.
But it seems that it won’t be long before an apologetic Gwen is trying to make nice with Abigail and be buds. Abigail will naturally be wary about Gwen and her motives, and we strongly suspect that Abigail should be worried.
After all, Gwen did attempt to come on to Chad once – sure, she claimed that it was just to make Jake jealous, but it seemed pretty real at the time. It really seems like Gwen wants to get in with the DiMeras pretty much any way that she can.
At first, it seemed that Gwen was in it for simply a nice place to live and a chance to live the good life for a while, or even long-term.
That seemed to be why she wanted to be with Jake so badly, but then she started to develop an interest in Chad, which could also be taken to mean that Gwen wants to attach herself to a DiMera for the money and the good life.
But is there something more going on here? Could Gwen have some more sinister ulterior motives that haven’t been revealed to viewers yet?
Upcoming Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Gwen will do her best to make nice with Abigail, even going so far as to become Abigail and Chad’s nanny. That means that Gwen will be getting pretty close to Abigail and Chad’s family.
It could be that someone from outside wants to infiltrate the DiMeras, and that they could be using Gwen to do so.
The possibility of Gwen being someone’s operative looks even more plausible when you consider another DOOL spoiler that says that Gwen will end up spiking Abigail’s drink.
Fortunately, it appears that Abigail will be prevented from drinking the spiked beverage, but what’s Gwen doing putting something in Abigail’s drink? That’s awfully suspicious, especially since Abigail was the victim of another drugging several weeks ago – a drugging that has caused her all sorts of problems.
Of course, the substance that Abigail was drugged with before turned out to be an experimental DiMera Enterprises drug that has really caused havoc for Abigail, complete with terrifying hallucinations.
Could Gwen possibly have been a part of the grand plan to drug Abigail from the get-go? We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that there could be much more to Gwen than currently meets the eye.
