Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) storyline is about to explode with some huge revelations. Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) will play a pivotal role in showing Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) another side of Gwen.
It looks like a photo album could set the stage for trouble. Anna can be seen holding one in DOOL’s extended weekly promo, so this may add to her growing suspicions about Gwen. Gwen may have a scrapbook in her possession that’s full of photos and newspaper clippings pertaining to the Deveraux clan.
Anna will tell Abigail that Gwen is a psycho who’s obsessed with her family, so she’ll have to wonder why. Of course, Abigail may have her doubts about Anna’s theory. Although Abigail’s suspicions also seem to be on the rise, she may try to explain away Gwen’s photo album at first.
Abigail might suggest it could be a gift for the family or find some other explanation that seems plausible. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail and Anna will make an incriminating discovery in Gwen’s room, but a photo album isn’t necessarily incriminating.
It doesn’t really implicate Gwen in any of her schemes; it merely suggests this obsession Anna will be pointing to.
Naturally, it might be a different story if Gwen has red Xs over all the faces or something along those lines. However, questions could be raised since Gwen acted like fate brought her together with Abigail. Anna might convince Abigail that Gwen has been targeting her the whole time.
Then again, it could be a case where Abigail wants to keep digging. Gwen might have a leftover empty vial from when she drugged Abigail or something else that tips Abby off.
Abigail might even think back to when Gwen kept trying to give her beverages – like that special Mocha Java coffee – which she intentionally spilled so Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) wouldn’t drink it instead.
Regardless, Abigail will soon find out Gwen’s trying to destroy her marriage as well. The goal here seems to be for all of Gwen’s plotting to blow up around the same time, so we’ll see several episodes that point Abigail and ultimately Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) in the right direction.
After Gwen makes Chad believe Abigail and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) cheated in a Salem Inn suite, she’ll initiate a hot kiss and perhaps even more. Abigail will go off searching for Chad, which will spark a massive confrontation with Gwen.
DOOL fans know Gwen promised to reveal all once she’d thoroughly dismantled Abigail’s life. She wanted to ruin Abigail’s little world – and then reveal who she is and why she did it. Gwen will do just that soon enough, so what’s her deal? Why is Gwen obsessed with Abigail and the Deveraux family?
Days spoilers say Jack will get his own separate confrontation with Gwen, which seems like a clue about the big reveal. Jack will even look puzzled over the newspaper clippings beforehand, so that should lead up to this bombshell.
So far, we’re still betting that Gwen is Jack’s long-lost daughter. There have been several hints about that, so it makes sense that Jack will demand answers from this child he potentially never had knowledge of.
As for why Gwen has targeted Abigail more than anyone else, that’s probably because Abby’s the golden girl – the daughter that Jack loved and doted on. JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) was a troubled teenager who was constantly in trouble with the law.
More recently, JJ was a drug addict struggling to get his life together following the time jump.
It’s easy to see why Gwen wouldn’t be as jealous of the problem child, especially since JJ is male. Gwen most likely sees Abigail as someone who stole HER daughter spot in Jack’s life. Jack has spent time in London before, so he probably slept with Gwen’s mom and then bailed – not even knowing about the baby.
Whatever the case, it seems Gwen will have a chance to unload on her half-sister and then Daddy dearest! If Gwen is indeed Jack’s long-lost daughter, it’s going to turn a lot of lives upside down. We’ll fill you in as other Days news and updates emerge.
