Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that several storylines will heat up as we move into the new year. Many Salemites will face troubling situations – and we’ve got the scoop for you. Here’s our DOOL 2021 preview so you’ll know what to expect in the drama-filled year ahead.
For starters, the mystery of who Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) really is will unravel. Days spoilers say Gwen’s agenda will be exposed – and the fallout will be huge for Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and everyone else connected to the Deveraux clan.
Gwen will ultimately drop the act and let her true attitude toward Abigail and her family shine through.
Meanwhile, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will get past the drama of their own big reveal. Kate and Jake’s romance will go public, so they’ll clash for a bit and eventually decide to roll with it. Days spoilers say Jake and Kate will make this an official relationship.
Of course, more drama will hit soon after since Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will return to town. Gabi will be back to win Jake’s heart again – and she won’t take no for an answer!
Despite Jake’s insistence that he’s with Kate now, Gabi will do whatever she can to renew her old sparks with Jake. It won’t be long until temptation strikes for Jake, who’ll certainly be drawn to Gabi.
Over with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), he’ll struggle with what he feels deep inside. Although Ben will get that the police evidence doesn’t support it, he’ll still feel like Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is alive.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will confess this information to Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), who’ll undoubtedly worry Ben’s going to be disappointed all over again.
Even so, Ben won’t rest until he gets some firm answers. Look for Ben to kick off his plan to find Ciara – and DOOL viewers will see where Ciara actually is as well. Ciara is alive, but she’s being held hostage and desperately needs Ben’s help.
Speaking of hostages, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will be freed from Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) clutches, but she’ll remain in danger. Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) used to be friends with Ava, so she’ll feel obligated to help her.
As a result, Nicole will turn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for help and hope she can score police protection for Ava.
In prison, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will face a shock after the New Year’s Eve party. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kristen will get the wrong idea once she spots a platonic kiss featured in a newspaper.
It’ll be one between Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so Chloe will quickly become a target of Kristen’s.
Chloe will also call Philip out on his money laundering scheme, so the jig will be up. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will score serious dirt on Xander, but things will get dangerous soon enough.
Xander will go against Sarah’s wishes due to his wild temper – and that’ll set up some deadly ramifications in the weeks ahead.
The mob will be involved here, so keep that in mind! From the sound of things, it seems Xander would do well to keep it in mind, too. Next, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will panic over a double kidnapping. Both of Lani and Eli’s babies will vanish from the hospital nursery.
A mysterious figure will be to blame – and we know Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) is coming back in early 2021. Whether Vivian is to blame for the kidnapped twins or not, you can bet Viv will cause plenty of chaos.
While Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) work to clear Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will have a similar plan.
Allie will come to accept that there may have been another man in her room that night. As a result, Days spoilers say Allie will go to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and ask to undergo hypnosis.
With any luck, Allie will remember the details of that night in London and sort out her memories. This could lead to Allie identifying Charlie as her attacker.
Over with Claire, she’s in for a rude awakening when she realizes Charlie isn’t the nice guy he seems to be. This blissful romantic bubble will burst and leave Claire in peril, so the stakes will be high.
