Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) may have to shift gears. DOOL viewers know Jake’s been in denial about the possibility that he’s Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) – at least whenever Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) confronts him about it.
Jake did have a moment where he seemed to consider the idea during a chat with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). However, Jake’s mostly fed up with everyone looking at him like they’ve seen a ghost. In Jake’s mind, he’s not this Stefan guy and doesn’t want to deal with all his drama. Jake’s got enough drama of his own!
Of course, an upcoming DNA test could be a game-changer. During the week of June 15-19, Days spoilers say Gabi will try to lock in some evidence that Jake is her husband. Since Jake’s sample will likely be a match for Stefan’s, that could leave Jake looking for answers. Could Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) provide them?
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian will make her long-awaited comeback soon. After Vivian’s arrest, Jake will pay her a visit. Vivian will be taken aback by this reunion, but she’ll certainly be happy to see her son again.
Naturally, Jake may wonder how he’s her son at all! None of this will make sense to Jake if that DNA test proves he’s a match for Stefan.
Soaps love to do long-lost twin storylines, so it’d be a mistake to ignore the option here. After all, Jake would still be a DNA match for Stefan if he’s his twin brother.
That might be something Jake considers asking Vivian about. Is there a chance Vivian’s been sitting on that secret this whole time? Was Stefan a twin all along?
Vivian could confirm that and take Jake’s story in a new direction – or she could deny it and deepen this Stefan mystery. Since Vivian will be stunned to see Jake, she may not be the one who worked with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) to bring him back.
That means Jake will have to figure out who else would’ve had a motive to save Stefan.
Vivian may not be able to help Jake crack the case, but she could play a critical role in moving this storyline forward. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vivian can at least offer confirmation on a few things and put Jake closer to the truth about his history.
