Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) may have reignited some old feelings for Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). It’s true that Jake rejected Gabi since he feels a strong connection and attraction to Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), but Gabi is the kind of gal who gets under Jake’s skin. There’s no way Jake can just forget about Gabi now.
Jake had shut the door on any possibility of a future with Gabi, so he just needs time to open it back up. Part of Jake may feel like it’s safer to stick with Kate than risk getting his heart broken by Gabi again.
As Gabi pointed out, things are simpler with Kate – at least in some ways. Jake and Kate have developed an easy bond, but easy soap romances are never the best ones.
It’s the complicated relationships that really bring the flying sparks and draw fans in. We’ve seen that with Gabi and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) as well as Gabi and Jake. Bring on the mess! That’s the good stuff when it comes to delivering soapy DOOL drama.
Of course, it wouldn’t have been much of a story if Jake had just dumped Kate on the spot and embraced Gabi with open arms. There has to be some buildup when it comes to Jake and Gabi’s new chapter. Jake may wind up pining now that Gabi has gone to be with Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) in Arizona.
Gabi assured Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that Salem hadn’t seen the last of her – and she’ll be proven right. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi won’t remain in Arizona after all. What will bring Gabi back home?
Jake seems like the right answer, especially if he takes matters into his own hands and goes after the woman he really wants.
Once Jake takes some time to mull things over, he may decide he can’t live without Gabi. This would be a great opportunity for a grand gesture that shows Gabi how much she means to Jake.
Perhaps Jake could fly to Arizona and insist he wants to be a family with Gabi and her daughter. Jake could make a sweet speech and insist that they belong together.
Naturally, Gabi might change her mind about living in Arizona since Rafe’s back in Salem – and so are her DiMera Enterprises dreams. Jake has also built a life in Salem, so there’ll be some good reasons for Gabi to return with Jake and split the time with Arianna’s daddies in Arizona.
Whatever the case, Jake may need to make a bold move and prove his commitment to Gabi soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Jake will get another shot at true love, so stay tuned to DOOL! We’ll keep you posted as other Days news and updates emerge.
