Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will find himself feeling helpless at the police station. Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) is missing, but Ben urged Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) to arrest him for Ciara’s own protection.
Ben’s still programmed to kill Ciara, so he poses a threat to his love if he’s free.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will help Ben recall some Vincent (Michael Teh) clues, including one that’s particularly vital to the story. Despite this positive step, Days spoilers say Ben will be awfully down on himself in lockup. DOOL fans can expect some low moments as Ben frets about Ciara and her captivity situation.
Ben must be wondering why his love wasn’t strong enough to fight off Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) brainwashing plot. Of course, it seemingly was strong enough in the end since Ben didn’t kill Ciara.
Even so, the fact that Ben even considered murdering his beloved bride should be tough for him to accept. Ben took Ciara to the brink of death due to his mind control.
The more time Ben has to mull all this over, the harder it’ll be. During the week of September 7-11, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will really need a friend to lean on.
Luckily, Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) will stop by the Salem PD to give Ben a pep talk. Perhaps Jake will remind Ben that he’s witnessed the love between Ciara and Ben first-hand.
Jake knows all about Ben’s serial killer history, but he’s never been afraid of him. Ben and Ciara were always head over heels for each other, so Jake saw how genuine their feelings were.
He knows Ben would never hurt Ciara without Eve and Vincent’s intervention. Ben certainly isn’t to blame for the way Vincent and Eve messed with his mind.
Jake may be able to give Ben some hope for a brighter future with Ciara. Maybe Jake will argue that Ben and Ciara are meant to be. Perhaps Jake will be the reason Ben eventually trusts himself enough to join the actual search for Ciara.
As the drugs wear off and Ben’s confidence grows, Jake may think it’s time for Ben to go get his wife back. Jake might push Ben to be Ciara’s hero!
Victoria Konefal is set to exit DOOL soon, but never say never on her return or even a Ciara recast down the road. Jake’s clearly a “Cin” shipper – and he may be right if he predicts they still have a shot. There’s always hope for Ben and Ciara’s future, no matter how bleak things may look.
