Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) may find herself in need of a hero. Days viewers can expect Gabi and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to leave Salem for safety reasons on August 28, so let’s talk about the threat they’ll be facing. Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) will warn his children that his enemies are out to get him – and that means Rafe and Gabi are in grave danger, too.
If Gabi and Rafe stayed put, they’d be ensuring their deaths. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe and Gabi will hastily exit Salem to protect themselves, so how will DOOL undo this?
Since we know Gabi and Rafe are ultimately coming back this fall, we should go ahead and think about what explanation Days will use. The easy answer is for the threat to be eliminated, but the danger could easily explode first!
It might be safer for Rafe and Gabi to hide out in different places, so they could wind up in separate parts of the country – or even in different countries entirely. It all depends on how far Gabi and Rafe think they need to take this.
Eduardo’s enemies are truly bad news or else the Hernandez siblings wouldn’t uproot their lives like this.
Before Gabi exits Salem, she’ll hit the sheets with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash). Gabi will undoubtedly leave Jake wondering what might’ve been. It’ll be tough for Jake to get Gabi out of his system, so he may decide to track her down at some point.
Jake worked awfully hard to find Gwen Rizhech (Emily O’Brien) to get the mob book back; there’s no reason Jake couldn’t follow Gabi’s trail for love!
Jake might even get updates on some peril that’s headed Gabi’s way. Let’s say Eduardo’s enemies come for Gabi – just like Eduardo said they would. They’ll quickly realize Gabi’s bolted due to a warning from Eduardo.
If those baddies figure out Gabi’s new location and Jake overhears, that could easily set up a great rescue storyline. It’d be exciting to watch Jake leap into action and race to save Gabi’s life. Could Jake help eliminate the threat and give Gabi her freedom? Could this set up Jake and Gabi’s true chance at romance?
