Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Heather Lindell is set to wrap her latest stint as Jan Spears on November 24, so DOOL fans will have to say goodbye to a great schemer. Lindell’s run has delivered some delightfully over-the-top soapy moments – like when Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) realized Jan was under that wedding dress veil!
In the new issue of SOD, Lindell opened up about playing Jan and offered some hope that she might return in the future. “I would love to see where these writers, if they bring her back, decide to go with her because there’s a lot you could do with the character,” Lindell said.
Lindell acknowledged that Jan’s had a one-track mind so far. Jan’s obsession with Shawn has driven the drama, but Lindell suggested maybe Jan could find a new fixation and cause a different type of trouble. She’s open to whatever the writers might come up with to incorporate all Jan’s crazy layers.
Lindell also works as a real estate agent, so she pointed out that getting to play Jan is a blast and makes her feel incredibly normal by comparison! As for the soapy nuptials that Jan’s currently in the middle of, Lindell couldn’t be happier about the chance to be a blushing bride.
“I feel like as a soap actor, the goal is to be part of a soap wedding…It’s so bucket list,” Lindell enthused. The Days star admitted she never thought Jan would get that kind of opportunity, so it was a real treat for her to be part of.
Although Shawn will only marry Jan to placate her, just having the nuptials transpire at all was fun for Lindell.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jan will face John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) attack when the time comes for her exit. After Jan’s plan starts to crumble, she’ll fib that she killed Belle Black (Martha Madison) and provoke John’s fury.
John will grab Jan by the throat and strangle her, but will Jan live or die? This Days character is just begging to be put back in a coma considering her history. There’s no confirmation on that just yet, but Lindell obviously acknowledged that Jan could come back.
That’s either because Jan winds up comatose or because the dead never stay dead in Salem!
