Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will be appalled when it looks like Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) actually going to marry Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). She’ll be fed up with Gabi always emerging victorious despite her horrible tactics. Lani will be desperate to stop this marriage before it’s too late, so she’ll eventually end up crashing the ceremony.
Gabi will glare and perhaps offer a veiled threat. She’ll want to remind Lani of what’s at stake here. We should point out that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is set to have a new pacemaker put in prior to this ceremony, which she’ll officiate.
Gabi will meet with a man named Chris (Chaz Kao) as part of her plan to make sure the new pacemaker’s booby-trapped, too.
It looks like Gabi will be satisfied that this new pacemaker is good to go, but what if she’s wrong? Is that why Lani will show up? Will she realize Gabi’s leverage has been eliminated? That’s one option to consider.
Then again, Lani might decide to call Gabi’s bluff. Gabi is a lot of things, but is she really the kind of person who’d press a button and kill Eli’s grandma in front of everyone? Probably not.
To be honest, Lani hasn’t looked too bright throughout this Days storyline. Gabi has plenty of flaws, but she does love her daughter, Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower). Would Gabi actually be willing to go back to prison – a place she’s been in multiple times and absolutely loathed? Especially when it’d mean being separated from Arianna again?
Gabi faced a brutal beating in the slammer and lost her ability to have more children. It’s not a place she’s eager to return to. It makes no sense for Lani to believe Gabi would go through with this and willingly send herself back to jail.
Gabi just wants to make Lani miserable. Furthermore, why was Lani willing to trust Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) with the truth, but not Eli?
There’s also the matter of Gabi’s new bond with Julie. She used to hate Julie’s guts, but DOOL fans know they’re on better terms now. That’s just one more reason to come clean and accept that Gabi isn’t going to kill this woman. Good grief, Lani! It’s been a little ridiculous.
Whatever the case, Lani will apparently be convinced that Gabi won’t make Julie’s heart go kaboom. She may secretly know the new pacemaker isn’t rigged after all or she may just wise up and realize Gabi’s not going to commit a public murder. Either way, Lani will shock everyone by appearing at the nuptials.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say the wedding will take a shocking turn when Julie collapses! Will this be part of Lani’s secret plan? It’s possible Julie will be brought in the loop and will put on a charade to help Lani. This may be the only way to trap Gabi into an admission – and she’ll indeed admit her scheme.
On the other hand, Julie could face a medical issue that isn’t related to Gabi’s meddling. She may collapse due to something that isn’t Gabi’s fault but works in Lani’s favor nonetheless. No matter how this plays out, Gabi’s going to make a full confession and get herself arrested!
