Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will wrestle with his feelings on the morning of his wedding. It sounds like Justin may have a case of cold feet – and there could be a couple of reasons why. The first one is obvious: Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) is clearly still in love with her ex, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols).
Justin’s crazy about Kayla and wants a future with her, but there’s no denying the magnetic pull Steve and Kayla have. DOOL fans know Justin’s battled jealousy, but Kayla’s tried to reassure him that he’s her present and future.
Even so, Kayla’s past with Steve is a concern for Justin. He’s probably worried that he’ll never truly measure up to Steve in Kayla’s eyes.
During the week of July 6-10, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will give his dad a pep talk. As Justin prepares to tie the knot, he may open up about his issues. Sonny can tell that there’s a lot of love between Justin and Kayla, so he may insist it’s normal to feel this way before tying the knot.
It’s a big step, so plenty of people have doubts before they take the plunge.
Even so, Justin’s concerns will keep building. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Justin will eventually make a confession that shocks Kayla. It sounds like Justin will corner Kayla and admit something huge.
That brings us to the other reason for Justin’s cold feet. Maybe part of Justin will feel like he’s looking for excuses to bail on this marriage.
Justin may confess that he’s not over Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and never will be. Adrienne was the love of Justin’s life, so that’d be a reasonable confession for him to make. Kayla gets that and would probably assure Justin that she already knows how he feels.
This has never been about replacing their former flames, but Justin might still fear that he can’t make the kind of commitment Kayla deserves.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Justin will face a cemetery shocker later. At Adrienne’s grave site, Justin may talk to his love and admit he couldn’t go through with the wedding.
That’d be the perfect time for Judi Evans’ return! Justin may turn around and see a familiar face, but will it be Adrienne…or Bonnie…or Bonnie pretending to be Adrienne?
