Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that many fans are curious what the future holds for Kristen DiMera and her portrayer, Stacy Haiduk. DOOL fans know Kristen was pressured into pleading guilty, which led to her being sentenced to five years in prison with the possibility of parole in two.
Of course, that leaves things a bit up in the air. There was no major exit news when Kristen was shipped off to Statesville. Stacy Haiduk is still a recurring player at Days of Our Lives, so we may see Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) visit her in prison along the way.
Kristen clearly needs to be out of the picture for story-dictated reasons right now. It was necessary for Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) part of the plot.
Now Eli’s got this huge secret that’s just waiting to come out and put his relationship with Lani in jeopardy.
The stakes are even higher since Lani is pregnant with twins. There’s the potential for the stress and anger of Eli’s secret exposure to bring on early labor. There’s also the matter of whether Lani can forgive Eli – both for the sake of their love and the sake of their family.
It feels like Eli’s going to need some redemption in Lani’s eyes eventually. Could Eli manage to make Kristen’s legal issues disappear with Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) help? That’s certainly an option to consider since Eli will want to get out of the doghouse. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was pardoned once upon a time, which led to his prison sentence being cut short. As for Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), she was once facing a lengthy stint behind bars for killing Nick Fallon (Blake Berris).
Some vague legal technicality scored Gabi her freedom, so there’s always hope for Kristen’s early release.
However, it’s also possible Days writers want to shop Brady around with other love interests and include him in other stories. If so, Kristen could remain behind bars in the meantime.
Whatever the case, this obviously isn’t the end of the road for Kristen. It’s just a matter of when Days will need her back in the story again.
