Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will face plenty of fears after her pregnancy test later this week. Once Lani gets confirmation that she’s expecting a baby, her mind will instantly drift to the pain she felt after her son’s death. Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) were crushed when they had to say goodbye to their baby boy, but this is their second chance at a child.
Eli will be overjoyed about that second chance, but Lani will see it more like another opportunity for loss. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani will fret about burying another son or daughter. Could Lani withstand that kind of pain?
Could Lani and Eli’s relationship survive it? There’ll be a lot of difficult questions for Lani to tackle as this storyline moves forward.
During the week of June 1-5, Lani will remain uneasy about this pregnancy and the potential of losing another kid. Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Lani and Eli will end up sharing some big news with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). It sounds like Eli and Lani will provide updates on the pregnancy.
You can bet both Abe and Julie will be thrilled for “Elani,” but they may pick up on Lani’s doubts and concerns. This could lead to some pep talks that help Lani come to grips with what she’s facing.
Abe always knows just what to say, so he could offer some words of wisdom. Julie tends to put her foot in her mouth, but DOOL fans know she can give great guidance when she works at it!
Even so, Lani may continue to battle worries about this baby. Is there anything that could make Lani gather her courage and put her fears aside? Could Lani’s first ultrasound make this feel real in a good way?
That’s the kind of thing that might make Lani fully embrace this second-chance child. Lani may feel instant love for this kid in that moment and try to have faith that everything’s going to be OK.
