Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) recent shocker gives her double the reasons to worry. DOOL fans know Lani was dealing with some pain, so Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) took her to the hospital as a precaution.
Lani and Eli feared there might be something wrong with the baby, but they ended up getting a nice surprise – another baby!
Of course, the twin bombshell brought some initial fears about paying for double the diapers, two college tuitions and everything else, but Lani helped calm Eli down. It may be Eli’s turn to quiet Lani’s fears next – and those fears may be about something far worse.
Since Lani lost her firstborn son, she’s definitely concerned about the possibility that something will go wrong. Although Lani’s been coping with her concerns a bit better lately, a setback is most likely brewing. During the week of August 17-21, Lani will be hospitalized once again.
It’s possible Lani will just go for a standard check-up, but it’s equally possible there’ll be another pregnancy bump in the road. Regardless, it doesn’t look like Eli will be able to make it over to the hospital – at least not right away. Lani will seem nervous as she talks to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), so it may sink in what’s at stake.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah will sense that Lani could spin out, so she’ll take her patient’s hand and give it a squeeze. Sarah will try to remain calm so that Lani remains calm. The good news is Lani’s crisis may just be a minor one – or even no biggie at all. The bad news is you can bet a major one’s coming sooner or later.
Lani’s bound to wind up fearing for both her babies’ lives at some point. Since losing one baby broke Lani, she can barely stand the thought of losing another one. Can you imagine how devastated Lani would be if she lost TWO more? Lani must feel like she wouldn’t survive a double death blow like that.
It’s something that Lani really needs to open up to Eli about at some point. Eli has promised to support Lani every step of the way, so here’s his chance to keep that promise. No soap pregnancy goes smoothly, so Lani and Eli need to be prepared for whatever lies ahead.
It’s doubtful Days would kill off another “Elani” baby, but Lani and Eli should still have some moments where they freak out! This should bring a gripping storyline for these newlyweds, so stay tuned to DOOL. We’ll provide updates as other Days details emerge.
