Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) is REALLY angry with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) right now. As viewers are aware, Lani found out about the big secret that Eli was keeping from her regarding Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Lani was furious when she learned about how Eli forced Kristen into confessing to the stabbing of Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), and Lani doesn’t seem to even be considering forgiveness at this point.
Even though Kristen has urged Lani to forgive Eli and be happy with him and their babies, Lani just can’t get past her anger. Of course, the timing of this is pretty bad, considering that Lani is due to give birth to the twins in just few weeks.
And unfortunately for Eli, it looks like Lani may completely shut him out of the pre-birth doctor appointments and all the things that she and Eli should be doing together as happy parents-to-be.
Well, it doesn’t look like Eli is going to take all of this sitting down. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Eli will end up crashing one of Lani’s prenatal appointments.
We’ll probably see Eli just walk in and demand to know why Lani didn’t want him there. He’ll probably argue that these are his babies too, and that he has a right to be there. But Lani may just make him leave.
Whatever happens, something tells us that Lani’s not going to be able to just shut Eli out of the delivery, even though that may be her plan. The new DOOL winter promo clearly shows Lani in the hospital in active labor, as she’s breathing through the pain.
Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tells Lani that she’s a strong warrior, indicating that she can get through this.
Interestingly, in the promo, Eli is nowhere to be seen, even though Lani is in active labor. That suggests that the rift between Eli and Lani will continue up through and even during the babies’ birth.
But we have to think that Lani is going to have a change of heart at some point throughout the labor – after all, she wouldn’t have these babies without Eli present, would she?
Viewers will have to wait to see what happens here, but it would be a great turn of events if Lani decides while she’s in labor that she can find it in her heart to forgive Eli. Eli could even rush in right at the last minute and be there for the birth, all happy that he and Lani are reunited.
