Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that one baby storyline is winding down, which means it’s time to kick off another one. Soaps tend to have at least one pregnancy every year or so. Who’ll be the next Days couple to welcome a bundle of joy? Time will tell, but there’s one option that seems pretty likely.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) just found out Lani Price (Sal Stowers) helped Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) make a run for it. That’s naturally going to spark some tension for Lani and Eli to work through. Fortunately, these two should come out stronger on the other side.
After all the drama Eli and Lani went through, Lani helping out her criminal gal pal is really no big deal. At least Lani’s not trying to blow up Eli’s grandma! Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) was a nightmare of an ex for Eli, so Lani’s a perfect angel in comparison. Eli certainly won’t throw his future away over Lani’s somewhat justified move.
In fact, this story twist could be a good pregnancy setup for Lani. DOOL fans know Lani talked to Kristen about her deceased son. Lani was able to relate to Kristen’s desperate desire to get her child back. Sadly, Lani’s baby boy is dead and gone, but she could easily have another son or daughter with Eli.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will start planning their wedding soon. The same goes for Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). There’ll be some other couples that head to the altar as well, although nobody knows for sure which ones yet.
Lani and Eli definitely deserve another chance at a happily ever after – for however long as those last on soaps! This is a couple that’s faced so much heartbreak and disappointment.
Now that Eli and Lani are finally together again, Days should give them the nuptials and child they were meant to have. They were robbed of both wedded bliss and baby bliss, so hopefully DOOL will rectify that.
