Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers has some news to pass on about a returning character who will be all grown up! As you might have heard, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will be making her appearance in Salem on Wednesday, June 10th, when she shows up on Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) doorstep.
The last time viewers saw Allie was back in 2014 when she was portrayed by Carolyn and Campbell Rose, and Allie will now be dramatically aged to a 20-year-old young adult. Allie’s portrayer, Lindsay Arnold, is a newcomer to daytime, with the role of Allie being her first soap role.
Lindsay previously appeared in guest spots on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the role of “Megan” back in 2016, and she appeared in Blindspot in the role of “Teenage Girl” in 2017. Additionally, Lindsay appeared in the TV movie Romance at Reindeer Lodge in the role of “Lana.”
It will be great to see Lindsay show up as Allie, and according to DOOL spoilers, Allie will have a secret that she’ll want her uncle Eric to keep – she’ll be pregnant and nearly ready to give birth! That should be a big surprise for Eric, who will surely feel some angst keeping this secret from his twin sister and Allie’s mother Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Of course, DOOL viewers will remember that Sami gave birth to her first child, Will Horton (Chandler Massey), when she was just a teenager, so she won’t have much room to talk. Then again, this is Sami that we’re talking about, and she generally has strong opinions about such things, so we’ll see!
It should be interesting to see how Sami reacts when she finds out not only that her daughter is pregnant, but that Allie wants to give her baby up for adoption! DOOL spoilers indicate that Allie will want her big brother Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) to adopt her baby – which is something that Sami might have strong feelings about.
We should note that Allie has been described by TPTB as a “mini Sami,” so she might just be a major force in Salem upon her return. It looks like she’ll still have a close relationship with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), and her dad Lucas Horton (Brian Dattilo) will be back in town this summer to interact with her as well.
