Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will awaken in the infirmary after a traumatic ordeal. DOOL fans know Maggie thinks she’s responsible for two significant deaths. Maggie was already a mess over killing Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) in that Mother’s Day car crash, but she was coping the best she could under the circumstances.
Unfortunately, the baby swap shocker really sent Maggie over the edge. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) informed Maggie that the real Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton died that night, which truly crumbled what was left of Maggie’s self-worth.
As a result, Maggie will hang herself and nearly die during the week of May 18-22. Thankfully, Xander will save Maggie’s life and fill her in on some good news when she wakes up. Days spoilers say Xander will sit by Maggie and explain that she didn’t kill anyone that fateful night.
Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) framed Maggie, so she’s not guilty of killing Adrienne or Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) baby. Of course, this story has changed plenty of times already! That’ll leave Maggie with some doubts when Xander first tells her what actually happened.
Although Maggie will certainly want to believe Xander’s telling her the truth, part of her will worry he’s just telling her what she wants to hear – especially since she’ll just have made a suicide attempt. There’s just been so much deception and confusion surrounding this crash.
Maggie would feel better having a little extra confirmation, and she’ll get it when two more visitors arrive. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) will show up along with Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Will and Kayla will back up Xander up with an explanation about Maggie being set up.
At that point, Maggie will fully accept her innocence and breathe a huge sigh of relief. Once Sarah’s brought in the loop on everything, she’ll come to see her mom in the infirmary as well. It’ll be a special moment for this mother and daughter as they express gratitude for each other.
Sarah will be glad Maggie survived and will hopefully be around for her family for many years to come. Likewise, Maggie will be relieved that her suicide attempt was unsuccessful thanks to Xander. This will be a new beginning for Maggie, who’ll eventually score her release from prison and rejoin her loved ones at home.
