Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) just won’t be able to take the guilt any longer. Maggie believes she’s responsible for Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) death as well as the death of her own grandbaby. Since Maggie was already barely coping, the added baby sorrow will send her sinking to her lowest point ever.
Maggie also has to deal with how much Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) suffering right now. The main reason this DOOL baby swap happened is because Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) wanted to protect Maggie. Protecting Sarah was part of all that, but Maggie was at the heart of the plot.
Sarah has essentially lost two babies as a result of the switch exposure: the real Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton and Rachel Black, who Sarah raised for a year. The thought of that will be especially brutal for Maggie as she continues to wrestle with the pain she caused Adrienne’s family.
Adrienne died that fateful Mother’s Day night and her loved ones have been mourning the loss ever since.
Days spoilers say Maggie won’t feel like she deserves to live after all this destruction. Although Maggie takes some comfort in knowing she’s paying the price in prison, it’s not enough to help her handle this terrible guilt.
Maggie will ultimately decide to end it all, so she’ll write Victor a goodbye suicide letter and plan to take her own life.
Once Victor opens up this letter and realizes it’s Maggie’s final farewell, he’ll fill Xander in immediately. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Victor will be desperate to stop Maggie’s suicide, so Xander will get updates and rush right over.
Unfortunately, Maggie will hang herself with her sheets before Xander arrives. She’ll be lifeless in her cell when Xander yanks Maggie down! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Xander will be horrified, but he’ll focus on getting Maggie breathing again.
After Xander does CPR and pleads with Maggie to pull through, Maggie will indeed be revived.
That’s great news anyway, but it’s especially great since Maggie isn’t even to blame for the crash. There’s no reason for Maggie’s guilt at all since Orpheus (George DelHoyo) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) framed her.
Regardless, suicide is never the answer, so it’s a relief that Xander will be able to bring Maggie back from the brink of death.
Days spoilers say some gripping scenes are ahead during the week of May 18-22, so stay tuned to DOOL. CDL will have other fantastic Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news posts, so be sure to check back regularly.
