Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will have to do some deep thinking after Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) makes a surprising suggestion. When Marlena catches Sarah unleashing her wrath on Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), Marlena will decide to pull Sarah out of Victor’s hospital room. She’ll think they need to go have a little chat and try to work through this.
Marlena will argue that it’s not good for Sarah to hang onto all this rage. She’ll also feel like there’s a possibility Sarah’s still in love with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Sarah will think the notion’s ridiculous – at least at first.
Days spoilers say Sarah will immediately shut down the idea that she still cares about Xander at all. How could Sarah love the man who lied repeatedly and caused her so much pain?
However, Marlena will likely point out that love is complicated. It’s not usually something you can predict or control. The truth is it’s very possible to love someone who’s hurt you. It’s also very possible to love someone even when you don’t want to.
Marlena won’t be saying Sarah should necessarily get back together with Xander, but she’ll at least want Sarah to take a deeper look at how she feels. Days spoilers state that Marlena will want Sarah to look beyond her anger.
She may hint that Sarah’s continued rage is mostly a way to cope with whatever she still feels for Xander. Hating Xander is the easiest thing Sarah could do right now.
Sarah will be adamant that she loathes the guy, but Marlena will indeed get Sarah thinking. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Sarah will ponder what it’d mean if she admitted she still loved Xander.
What would that say about Sarah? Sarah may even fear she’ll end up like Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) – doomed to love a man like Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) forever when she deserves so much better.
Nevertheless, Xander and Victor were both driven by the motive of protecting the people they love. Neither one of them set out to harm Maggie or Sarah. They were willing to do terrible things if it meant sparing Sarah and Maggie pain. That’s something Sarah will have to take into consideration.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah will cling to her anger for now – especially after new information about Xander comes to light. There’ll be another setback for Xander soon, but this conversation with Marlena sounds crucial.
It could help Sarah accept that she still loves Xander, which is something DOOL can build a “Xarah” reunion on down the road.
