Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, June 15, reveal that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) argued with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) at the Kiriakis Mansion. Maggie fumed at Xander for trying to steal Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) embryo and implant in into Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) body. Xander sheepishly tried to explain that Kristen had blackmailed him into doing it. Maggie remained peeved.
Xander wondered how he could get Sarah back, and he told Maggie about talking with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about putting a 2-page ad in the Spectator to apologize. Maggie thought that sounded awful, and Xander pleaded with her for another way to make Sarah forgive him.
Maggie said that the only thing Sarah wanted was to have her precious daughter back. Xander then got a bright idea and told Maggie about it off-screen. Maggie seemed to think that is was a wonderful gesture, but she warned that Sarah might not have a good reaction even to the kindest of gestures. Xander remained optimistic.
In town square, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah kissed passionately, then Brady pulled away and asked Sarah what was going on. Sarah said that they should immediately go and make love, but Brady balked. Sarah explained that she wanted to deliver a death blow to Xander, and this was the way to do it. Brady wasn’t convinced.
Sarah told Brady that he needed to double-down on his revenge, and that it wasn’t fair that he got his CEO job back and that his plan was falling into place while her plan to destroy Xander was falling flat. Sarah said that Xander didn’t think she had it in her to sleep with Brady and that she wanted to prove Xander wrong. Finally, Brady agreed, and the two took off, heading straight into the Salem Inn.
At the Salem PD, Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) had lunch and talked about Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) unofficial missing persons case. After some discussion, Eli and Lani agreed that Gabi wouldn’t just run off and leave her daughter behind, so she must be missing. Eli and Lani discussed how perhaps Gabi went to Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) garage (where she was last headed for) and got into an altercation with Jake.
Eli and Lani even considered the possibility that Gabi had been murdered by Jake, and that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) had helped Jake dispose of the body. Eli and Lani decided to go with the theory that they could be looking at a murder.
In the park, Jake posted a flyer with Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) picture on it when Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) walked up. Jake turned around and Julie about fainted. Jake helped Julie sit on a park bench and the two chatted. “You’re THAT lady,” Jake said when Julie said that she had Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) heart.
Julie proceeded to tell Jake all about Gabi and all the horrible things she had done, including holding her heart/pacemaker hostage and blackmailing Lani. Julie asked who was on the flyer, and Jake explained that it was his ex, and that she had taken something from him. Julie asked what Gwen had taken, but Jake wouldn’t say. Jake then got a call from Lani to come down to the station.
Jake headed to the police station and went into an interrogation room with Eli and Lani. Jake asked if this was about Gabi’s hearing tomorrow, and Eli said that it was about “her” missing person’s case. Jake asked whose missing person case, and he soon pretended to learn that Gabi was missing. Jake asked how they knew Gabi was missing, and Eli said it was because a statement made by Ari Horton’s (Sydney Brower) father. Jake looked shaken.
At the Salem Inn, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was stunned to see Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) standing at her door. Claire asked to come in, and she proceeded to tell a shaken Ciara that she had been released from Bayview. Ciara thought that Claire would go back to Hong Kong with her parents, but Claire said that she wanted to be in Salem so she could make amends to Ciara.
Ciara told Claire that what happened between them was in the past. “It’s ok, I’m ok, and I forgive you,” Ciara said. Claire said that she couldn’t forgive herself until she could repair their relationship and prove that she’s not a psycho killer anymore. Ciara said that she didn’t view Claire as a psycho killer, just as “troubled” in the past.
Claire went on to reveal that she knew about Ciara’s upcoming wedding to Ben, and Ciara was surprised. Claire acted like her parents told her about the wedding, and she gushed about how excited Ciara must be. As they kept talking, Claire asked Ciara if she could be her maid of honor at the wedding. Ciara immediately hesitated and claimed that she hadn’t thought about her attendants yet.
Claire pushed, saying that she wanted to help Ciara with planning and getting ready. Ciara said that her mom was going to help, but Claire didn’t take the hint. Claire kept trying to persuade Ciara, then guilted her a bit by saying that she felt that Ciara didn’t trust her. Ciara finally agreed to think about it and to talk it over with Ben. Claire was overjoyed and hugged Ciara enthusiastically.
Claire then noticed a flyer of Gwen on the table, and asked Ciara what it was. Ciara tried to brush it off as nothing, but Claire persisted, saying, “I thought that was her…the woman on this flyer…I know her!”
At Jake’s garage, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) arrived to see Ben, who was hovering over a car working. Will pressed Ben for information on Gabi, saying that it seemed that Ben might know more about Gabi’s disappearance. Ben stayed mum, not saying what he knew. Will apologized, saying he was just rattled because his daughter’s mom was missing.
Will then said something about being grateful for their friendship, and Ben decided to ask Will to be his best man. Will smirked and said that he never thought they would end up this close, but that they had bonded in prison. Will agreed to be Ben’s best man, and the two hugged happily.
Will then asked Ben if he and Ciara wanted kids, and Ben said yes, prompting Will to bring up the fact that the and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) are going to have another baby. Ben was thrilled for them, then talk turned back to Gabi’s disappearance. Ben felt guilty as Will lamented about how hard this was for Ari. Will then mentioned that Eli and Lani were working on the case in an unofficial capacity, and Ben looked horrified.
