Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 12, tease that some stunning moments are on the way. Before we dive in, we should note that the NBC soap will be preempted on Thursday, October 8, as well as Friday, October 9. DOOL will pick right back up on Monday without any story interruptions, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Monday’s episode.
For starters, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will do her best to rattle Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). DA Trask is fixated on this case, so she’ll make it clear that justice is coming for Kristen.
While Kristen worries about what Melinda has up her sleeve, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will struggle with the predicament he finds himself in.
Eli now has a recording of Kristen’s incriminating confession, but he knows giving it to Melinda will mean disaster for his marriage. Lani Price-Grant (Lamon Archey) had a hard time getting past the fact that Eli arrested Kristen. If Eli hands over the evidence that puts Kristen away, Lani might never forgive him.
However, Eli has vowed to keep Lani out of prison and protect their family. Giving Melinda that recording seems like the only way to make that happen, so Eli will really be in a tight spot.
No matter what Eli decides to do, Kristen will end up pleading guilty next week. She’ll think it’s time to face the music, but Lani will really step up her efforts to keep Kristen a free woman.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will discuss his brother. Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is hoping Abigail can talk to Chad and promote peace, so that’s what Abby will try to do.
Chad won’t love the idea of extending an olive branch to Jake, but he loves Abigail and will agree to do it as a favor.
Meanwhile, Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will be awfully chatty as she barges in on Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux’s (Melissa Reeves) conversation.
Gwen has an overwhelming personality and plenty of quirks, so Jack and Jennifer find her odd to say the least! Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Gwen will hope to get better acquainted with Abigail’s parents.
Gwen recently told Abigail it must’ve been nice to have a loving father growing up, so it seems more likely than ever that, CDL first reported, Gwen is Abby’s half-sister and Jack’s long-lost daughter. That’s something fun to keep in mind as Gwen tries to get chummy with potential Daddy Jack!
