Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that some good news should be headed Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) way soon. However, let’s talk about another round of trouble first. DOOL fans know Gwen and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) have become enemies, so there’s bound to be more tension once Gwen moves in the DiMera mansion with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash).
There’ll also be chances for Jake and Gabi to grow closer, so Gwen isn’t going to approve if she catches them – and she probably will since she’ll be serving as Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) spy.
That brings us to the good news we mentioned. Although many Days viewers are bummed over Gabi’s looming departure, Gwen should be thrilled! It’ll mean Gwen’s getting rid of her romantic rival.
Of course, Gwen may not have Jake all to herself for long. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marci Miller will reprise the role of Abigail DiMera in the months ahead.
A recovered Abigail will return home, so it looks like a new rivalry will form. DOOL needs a way to keep the drama going, so they’ll bring Abigail back in the picture and presumably let her become Gwen’s next foe.
Since Days of Our Lives spoilers point to a bit of a love quad happening this fall, all the pieces are lining up. We could have Chad, Abigail, Jake and Gwen living under one roof – at least until conflict starts exploding.
Although Jake’s appearance will take some getting used to, Abigail seems poised to bond with him. Abigail should begin to see Jake as a completely different person, which is good since Jake’s indeed far different from his rapist twin.
Jake doesn’t approve of what Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) did and doesn’t like the kind of guy Stefan was in general.
Gwen may eventually realize she’s traded one romantic threat for another. She’ll be rid of Gabi, but Abigail’s return will bring yet another relationship hurdle. If Gwen feels like Abigail’s crossing lines that shouldn’t be crossed with Jake, she just might retaliate – perhaps even in Chad’s bed!
