Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that we should consider some of the younger characters on canvas and what their futures might look like. Now that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) has been revealed as Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) attacker and someone with a penchant for violence, his days are numbered.
Charlie’s future is bleak, so we should talk about what might happen once he’s inevitably written out. Minus Charlie, we’ll have a crushed and newly single Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).
There’s also grieving Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), who may be forced to move on from Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) if Days can’t work out a long-term deal with Konefal or a Ciara recast.
Next, there’s Allie. She’s been through a lot due to this rape ordeal and may struggle with trust like Claire moving forward. Finally, we’ll have Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) to match up, so that gives us four key players in a post-Charlie world.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the show might have the makings of an intriguing love quad featuring Claire, Ben, Tripp and Allie.
DOOL could easily do a little mixing and matching here. Claire already has a nice bond with Ben, but she should get her old bond with Tripp back on track down the road.
Once Tripp’s name is cleared of Allie’s assault, Claire may drift in his direction once again. Either guy would be a good option to help Claire heal from the pain Charlie’s about to put her through.
However, we have to remember Allie’s pain as well. Allie obviously went through even more of it that night in London, which will always haunt her. It’s easy to imagine Allie bonding with Tripp once she knows the truth. There’ll be remorse on Allie’s part for accusing Tripp of something he didn’t do, but Tripp will understand since the evidence pointed straight at him.
Tripp might want to get to know his nephew, Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), once the Charlie brother shocker comes out. Perhaps Tripp could even offer to serve as a figure for Henry.
Nevertheless, the idea of a Ben and Allie pairing isn’t crazy. Lindsay Arnold auditioned with Robert Scott Wilson to get the part of Allie, so Allie and Ben might be a pairing option the show’s considering.
If Ben plays a role in taking Charlie down, that could lead to gratitude from both Claire and Allie. Throw Tripp in this mix and there’d be some fantastic potential to explore. We’ll keep you in the loop as other Days news rolls in.
