Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that one NBC soap alum reached out to his fans and showed them some love. DOOL fans will remember Peter Reckell from his run as Bo Brady in Salem. Bo died of a brain tumor back in 2015, but there’s always hope for a comeback in the crazy soap world!
Regardless, social media serves as a great way to keep up with Days stars who have left the show. Reckell hadn’t posted on Twitter in a while, but he recently checked in and passed along a sweet message. It turns out Reckell had an exciting milestone to celebrate along with some excellent advice.
Like many of us, Reckell’s stuck at home while the COVID-19 aka coronavirus crisis dies down. As a result, Reckell’s been trying to pass the time as best as he can. Once boredom struck, Reckell decided to send out a tweet. It was his first one since Christmas Eve 2019, so Reckell’s fans were eager to hear from him again.
“Okay, ran out of stuff to do around the house and thought it was long past time for me to check up on twitter,” Reckell said. “According to my profile I joined twitter 10 years ago. WOW, how time flies! Hope you are all being smart and Safe so this lock down can end.”
It was nice of Reckell to pop in and let Days of Our Lives viewers know how he’s doing. In a follow-up tweet, Reckell responded to a fan’s question. Since Reckell’s really into biking, this fan wanted to know if he was still doing it.
“Yup, getting some biking in and hikes with the family,” Reckell insisted. “Lucky we can walk to the forest from the house and folks are being very respectful of each other.” It’s awesome to hear that Reckell’s having some fun with the fam!
Of course, several DOOL viewers took the opportunity to share how much they missed Bo. For many fans, Salem hasn’t been the same without Bo playing the hero.
“Come back to Days! Dr. Rolf can bring Bo back to life!” one DOOL watcher tweeted. “Now if we could only get you back on days!!!” said another. “We miss you on Days but hope you are doing well,” said one more fan.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say big returns are always cooking behind the scenes, so you never know! Perhaps Peter Reckell will reprise his role as Bo Brady someday.
