Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will face some struggles – but perhaps not the kind you’re thinking! Ever since Claire scored her release from Bayview, DOOL’s been playing up the suspicious angle. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) has definitely raised an eyebrow over Claire’s “Cin” wedding obsession and wonders what her bestie has up her sleeve.
However, that seems far too obvious, doesn’t it? After all the messy time jump mysteries, why would Days basically warn you that Claire’s dangerous and then prove it?
That just doesn’t line up at all with the way DOOL tends to tell stories. There are always some twists and turns, so you can almost certainly expect some in Claire’s hot plot.
Unfortunately, it’s clear that things are going to turn out horribly for Claire. Since Claire’s probably going to land back at Bayview after some terrible misunderstandings, her parents should be crushed. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) may feel particularly bad after Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) upcoming wedding drama.
Since Claire will at least look guilty, Shawn and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will have a rough time processing all this. It appears Belle and Shawn will stick around after Claire’s exit, which should be around August.
Let’s focus on Belle and her devastation. Could someone besides Shawn step up to comfort Belle in her time of need?
Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) could easily get updates on Belle’s troubles and offer support. Longtime Days fans will recall that Philip believed he was Claire’s father after she was first born. It was tough for Philip to let go after the paternity truth came out, so he undoubtedly still feels connected to Claire in some ways.
The news of Claire’s “relapse” could hit Philip hard – especially after he sees how much pain Belle’s in. It’d be nice to see Belle and Philip bond over all this. Of course, that doesn’t mean anything romantic would happen between them – although it certainly could.
That door’s always going to be open for these exes, but this reconnection could also be one between concerned, caring friends.
Regardless, it’s difficult to imagine Philip just ignoring Belle when her world’s crashing down. Days of Our Lives will likely let Philip share some sweet scenes with Belle as she copes. We’ll keep you posted as other Days details emerge.
