Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will get a proper welcome home dinner. Now that Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) son is back in Salem and intends to stick around, he may think that calls for a celebration. That certainly sounds like an idea Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) could get behind.
It’s possible Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) get roped into attending as well. Of course, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will be on hand to clash with Philip – and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) should be stuck in the drama.
This welcome home dinner might even be Xander’s idea since he’ll be cooking up a grand plan to make Philip pay. Xander may want to set the stage for Philip’s shock and humiliation.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Philip’s welcome home dinner will come with a stunning interruption. It turns out Philip will get arrested right in the middle of it!
Philip will reel as he’s hauled away in handcuffs, but what exactly will he be arrested for? DOOL viewers know Philip recently grabbed Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) and threatened to take care of her permanently. We also know Xander will do his best to manipulate Jan, so he might urge her to press charges against Philip.
Xander could even arrange another scene to intensify Philip’s menacing side. Maybe Xander will convince Jan to provoke Philip and make matters worse. Then again, there might be some other dirt Xander’s able to come up with. Xander’s a resourceful guy, so he’ll use anything he can to take Philip down.
Sarah will immediately know this has Xander written all over it. Once Philip is taken into custody, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah will blast Xander for his involvement.
She’ll call Xander out for setting up Philip’s arrest and causing chaos at this welcome home dinner. Sarah definitely won’t approve since Xander will be scheming all over again.
Xander, on the other hand, may feel like Philip started this by swooping back in town and going after a job he previously cared nothing about. Xander’s the one who’s been right by Victor’s side – switching babies, saving Maggie’s life and doing all Vic’s dirty work.
Philip’s been MIA while Xander’s been loyal, so Xander doesn’t think it’s fair that he has to share the Titan throne.
However, you can bet Philip won’t let an arrest stop him. If anything, this is only going to make Philip more determined to beat Xander at his own game. We’ll offer updates as other Days news rolls in.
