Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be glad to see Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) home in one piece. DOOL fans know Rafe recently had to surrender custody of David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends). Rafe said a tearful goodbye to David before Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) took him away, so Rafe really can’t deal with any more loss right now.
Although Rafe will be overjoyed to know Gabi’s OK after her kidnapping ordeal, Gabi will remain stuck in a different jam. She’s facing serious charges that could put her behind bars for quite some time, but Gabi will be adamant that she’s innocent.
As Gabi’s trial draws near, Days spoilers say Rafe will fret over losing his sister in a different way. He won’t want Gabi to land back in prison, but that could easily happen if Rafe doesn’t act fast. Rafe is always going to be the protective big brother who wants to help, so he’ll do whatever he can to get Gabi off the hook.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will arrange a meeting with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay). Dr. Rolf was already locked up when Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) was drugged, but Gabi suggested he must’ve had an accomplice.
Rafe will think that if he offers Dr. Rolf a tempting deal, he can figure out who this mysterious accomplice is.
Dr. Rolf is loyal to Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo), but that’s about it. There’s a good chance Dr. Rolf will sell out his secret partner in a heartbeat if the deal’s worthy.
However, Dr. Rolf may play hardball to get the best deal possible. Dr. Rolf could easily demand his freedom since his confession could result in Gabi keeping her own.
Rafe may think Dr. Rolf’s driving an awfully hard bargain – perhaps one that Rafe’s not even able to make. Reducing Dr. Rolf’s sentence or getting him special privileges might be more along the lines of what Rafe’s thinking. Letting Dr. Rolf walk out the door a free man may be too much to ask.
Of course, Dr. Rolf might push Rafe to make it happen or risk watching Gabi go to prison again. It’ll be interesting to see if Rafe and Dr. Rolf can reach an agreement during the week of June 22-26.
