Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) dreams will be dashed once he heads back to Salem. The threat Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) and his loved ones were facing will be a thing of the past, but so will Rafe’s romance with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).
Rafe will come home on November 27 to the double blow of Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) murder and Hope’s refusal to accept it. Once Rafe gets updates on Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) supposedly killing Ciara, he’ll find out Hope went off in search of her daughter.
Naturally, there’s someone important Rafe will need to check in with – and that’s Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will inevitably hear about Ben’s final faceoff with Vincent. Rafe may pay Ben a visit to learn exactly what went down and figure out if Hope’s onto something here.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) pushed Ben to accept Ciara’s death and try to move on with his life. Even so, a small part of Ben will always have to wonder if Ciara might be out there somewhere. Ben and Rafe should certainly understand why Hope’s distraught enough to keep hope alive.
It looks like Rafe will have no way of getting in touch with Hope, but he could look at the case with fresh eyes. There’s always a chance Rafe will find something that the other cops involved missed. It’d give Rafe a sense of purpose – a way to feel like he’s helping after not being there when Hope needed him.
Could Rafe become a crucial part of solving the mystery of where Ciara is now? Kristian Alfonso has left Days, so someone besides Hope may have to step up for Ciara’s rescue. DOOL reportedly has no plans to recast Hope Brady, which means Hope won’t be saving the day.
Perhaps Rafe will uncover some major Ciara clue and team up with Ben to find her. Rafe was like a second father to Ciara and even walked her down the aisle, so it’d be fitting to include him in this. Since Hope can’t be the one who scores Ciara her freedom, Rafe might be the next best thing – along with Ben of course!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara is stuck in captivity, so it’s just a matter of time until the truth comes out. “Cin” fans are still waiting on a Ben and Ciara reunion, so let’s hope one’s coming in the months ahead. We’ll fill you in as other Days news rolls in.
