Days of Our Lives Spoilers Recap: Monday, August 10 – Vincent Drugs Ben – Allie Runs, Leaves Son to Nicole – Claire Staying In Salem

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, August 10, reveal that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) talked at the Kiriakis mansion. Sami apologized to Will for getting him in trouble with Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).

Will said that he forgave his mom, and that she didn’t force him to lie to Sonny – that’s on him. Sami lamented that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) had a huge decision to make about her baby, and Sami rushed off to talk with Allie.

Soon, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) came in the living room with a baby carriage for Will. Will had to tell his dad that he and Sonny weren’t getting the baby, and Lucas heard the whole story off-screen.

Lucas thought that perhaps Allie might change her mind and eventually let Will and Sonny adopt her baby. Lucas said that he just wanted all his kids to be happy.

At the penthouse, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) talked. Together, they rehashed what had happened to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and how Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) had kidnapped him from the wedding.

Marlena and Claire talked about how Eve had set Claire up as a suspect in the church bombing, and they talked about how Eve was upset over her daughter’s murder.

Claire indicated that she wanted to stay in Salem rather than go back to Hong Kong with her parents. Marlena was thrilled and talk soon turned to Allie having her baby. Marlena and Claire looked at photos of the baby for a while, then Claire and Marlena hugged happily, both glad that Claire was sticking around Salem.

At the police station, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) came to see Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Together, they recapped what happened in New York and how Hope had subdued Eve’s henchman Vincent (Michael Teh).

Together, Rafe and Hope concluded that as long as Eve and Vincent were out there, Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) and Ben were still in danger. Hope said that Ben still had no idea what had happened to him.

In the park, Vincent talked with Eve via phone, telling her that he’s in Salem and that he had just given Ben the last dose of the “treatment.” Vincent said that he had dressed up like an orderly and gone into Ben’s room and put the final course of mind-altering drugs into Ben’s IV, which should make Ben want to kill Ciara.

At the hospital, Allie and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) stood at the nursery looking in at Baby Boy Horton. Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) walked up and greeted them, and Allie indicated that she wanted to hold her baby.

Nicole went off to get a nurse, and Allie asked Eric to pray that she didn’t screw this up. Eric and Allie went back to Allie’s room, where Nicole soon entered with the baby. Allie held her baby tenderly and talked with him sweetly.

Soon, Sami entered, very happy that Allie was holding her baby. “Did she change her mind about keeping the baby?” Sami whispered to Eric and Nicole. Allie said that she hadn’t made a decision yet, and that it was Nicole’s idea that she hold the baby.

Nicole and Eric left the room, and Sami talked with Allie as she held her baby. Sami apologized to Allie for how she tried to influence Rafe’s decision.

Allie wasn’t really feeling the apology, and she blasted her mom for her history as a mother and all her mistakes over the years. Sami got emotional and asked Allie to simply learn from her mistakes and said that she’d be an amazing mom.

Sami noted that Allie seemed to love her baby, and Allie said that she did, and that there was definitely a bond there. Ally softly said that now she knows what she needs to do. Sami was happy to hear that, and she assumed that Allie wanted to keep her baby.

Sami took the baby from Allie to take him back to the nursery, where she ran into Eric and Nicole, who were talking about possibly adopting a baby themselves.

Sami tearfully thanked Nicole for encouraging Allie to hold her baby. After talking the baby to the nursery, Sami, Eric, and Nicole went back to Allie’s room, but Allie and her backpack were gone. Eric found a note, which said that Allie wanted Nicole to raise her son. Nicole and Sami looked shocked.

In Ben’s room, Ben suffered from flashbacks from his kidnapping ordeal as Ciara rushed in his room asking what was wrong. Ben had a flashback to being conditioned to strangle Ciara, but he didn’t tell Ciara about it.

Instead, he put his hand behind Ciara’s neck in an ominous way and pulled her in for a kiss. Off-screen, Ben and Ciara learned that Ben would be released later, as soon as his bag of IV fluids was done pumping into his veins.

Ben was glad to be going home, and he told Ciara that he felt like he was on the edge of what happened but that he couldn’t remember it. Ben appeared to remember being taught to strangle Ciara’s image, but he didn’t tell Ciara about it.

From the doorway, Vincent lurked and took note of the IV that Ben was still hooked up to.

Later, Hope and Rafe talked in the elevator on their way up to Ben’s room. Rafe mentioned that Ben’s tox screen came back practically clean. Hope worried that perhaps Eve had access to the experimental drugs that Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) cooked up in that lab of his.

Vincent spotted Hope and Rafe as they walked toward Ben’s room. Vincent made himself scarce.

Hope and Rafe went into Ben’s room, and off-screen, Rafe asked Ben some questions, but Ben didn’t remember anything from his kidnapping ordeal.

Rafe said that he thought that Eve probably captured Ben to punish and kill him. Ben decided that he’d had enough and that he was leaving the hospital now, so he ripped out the IV and said was going home with Ciara.

Later, Ben and Ciara walked through town square in the direction of the Salem Inn. As they walked in the Inn, Vincent lurked and called Eve to say that “Our boy just took Ciara into the Salem Inn. She’s going to have a memorable evening – her last night on earth.”

Inside the Salem Inn, Ben carried Ciara into their room, and they kissed happily. Ben then stopped kissing Ciara and said that there was something he had to do first. Ben put a “do not disturb” sign on the door while ominous music played in the background.
