Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) won’t be able to put off spilling a secret any longer. DOOL fans know Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) can be overbearing when it comes to her kids.
Sami means well, but she tends to take charge of her adult children’s lives – and that’s not always the best thing for them.
Back when Allie was pregnant, she went to great lengths to keep that a secret from her mother. Once Sami inevitably found out anyway, it caused plenty of drama. Sami made a real mess of things and meddled in Allie’s adoption plans, so it’s easy to see why Allie has kept the rape shocker under wraps.
Allie’s just been trying to deal with things on her own without the added Sami pressure and usual chaos her mom brings to the table. However, Sami and Allie shared a warm moment before Sami left town. There’s a lot of love between them – and Allie can’t keep her mom in the dark on what happened to her forever.
The secret’s all over Salem by now, so Sami really deserves to hear the truth before she hears it from someone else. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will make a tough admission to Sami during the week of December 21-25.
Allie might need a little nudge from her support system to open up to Sami, but that’s indeed what she’ll do.
Alison Sweeney will reprise her role as Sami for a longer stint starting early next year, but this is something that can’t wait. Days spoilers suggest Sami will be back on screen to hear Allie’s confession, but it seems it’ll only be for one scene and will likely be over the phone.
Even so, it should be good for Allie to get this off her chest and help Sami understand the situation. There should be some emotional moments on both sides as Allie admits she was assaulted – and that’s how Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) was conceived.
Sami should see Allie’s previous adoption goal in a new light once she’s got all the facts. We’ll probably see some guilt on Sami’s part for pressuring Allie to keep Henry and bond with him.
However, Allie should be grateful things worked out the way they did on that front. It’s clear that Allie’s finally connecting with Henry and enjoys being a mom to him.
As for the assault itself, Sami will be so sorry about what Allie went through. They’ll find some common ground since Sami was raped when she was younger. Allie may even admit she threatened to shoot off Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) privates after hearing a story about her mom’s vigilante justice.
Once the call wraps up, Sami should start making plans for her next Salem comeback. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sami has a lengthy stint on the way that’ll last through most of 2021, so stay tuned. We’ll offer updates as other Days news emerges.
